Rimuru had arrived at Lubelius.
On the tour through the city's street, the children were overcome with curiosity as they took in the sights with wonder. On the other hand, Takt and the band members were shaking nervously in their boots.
Their guide was Hinata herself.
"Welcome to Lubelius. His Majesty the Pope welcomes you all too," she said in a tone that sounded a little disrespectful toward the pope.
But since the Pope was Louis, then it shouldn't be a problem, right? Takt and others didn't notice it, so that must be the case. The children were also oblivious to this classified information.
"First off." She started talking about the schedule. "Tonight, we will be hosting a banquet to welcome everyone. When the next morning comes, we will invite you all to complete soundchecks. The day after is scheduled for rehearsal and the concert will take place in three days' time."
Rimuru had agreed to let Luminous' side draft a schedule as that would be the most convenient.
"We only have one day to rehearse? That sounds tough. What do you think? Do speak your mind. Despite how she looks, Hinata isn't really scary."
"Are you trying to start a fight right now?" There was no real animosity behind her words though. She was indeed smiling.
'I see. He doesn't see me as a scary woman.'
Hinata was more mindful about the way she was perceived by others than she let out. Maybe it was something about her eyes. Hinata's violet eyes could be seen as cold, giving off an aura of arrogance even if it wasn't her true intention.
She even became more aware of it when Rimuru ran away from her that time.
It was good to know that Rimuru wasn't scared of her, although that would be very cute for a formidable Demon Lord like him to have such a weakness.
"A fight with me, you say? Hinata, Hinata. Don't you remember how the last time went?" Rimuru shook his head as he couldn't believe her audacity, yet there was a small smirk on his face.
"Tsk. You couldn't resist the urge to bring that up, could you?"
"You don't like it because it's true and you don't have a counterargument for that. Nothing wrong with losing, especially losing to me," Rimuru said smugly.
"If that is what you want to think, Your Majesty," said Hinata sarcastically.
They stared each other in the eyes for a few seconds. As the atmosphere got more and more intense, both bursted out in a gleeful laughter.
Most couldn't understand them and were confused.
"I cannot believe you both." Shizu sighed. She noticed immediately that the suspense between them was fabricated.
The children and the band weren't as observative as her, so they truly thought that a fight was about to break out.
"Can you not do that again?" Shizu nagged at them.
"Aw, but that is a lot of fun."
"Rimuru-san! Please, be a good role model for the children!"
"Okay, okay, I understand what you are trying to say. I will act like an adult."
Shizu-san was very strict, but that was for the benefits of those around her.
Rimuru didn't mind her at all; in fact, he thought it was commendable.
"Hmph. You're barely a responsible man; I will take your words with a grain of salt," Hinata added. Her voice was slightly above a whisper.
Carrera and Shion looked like they could brawl with Hinata any time now.
