Veldanava was an avid creator. He created more than he would need. The collection of swords was proof of that. It was said that most God-grade equipment came from the Star King Dragon himself, but that statement had never been proven true or false.

Only a few swords were confirmed to be Veldanava's creations.

The Sword of Earth 'Jiten' and the Sword of Heaven 'Deva' were given to the student he was proud to have.

The Sword of Void 'Ark' which belonged to his strongest seraph.

The Sword of Promising Victory 'Excalibur' and the Sword of Selection 'Caliburn' were given to his most trusted seraph. They were symbols that legitimized the holder as Heaven's rightful king.

The Heavenly Demon Sword 'Asura' was given to Guy Crimson, and later became Milim's weapon of choice.

But just like Rudra, Guy recieved 2 swords. The other one was the World Sword 'Sekai'.

Sekai was one of the most formidable swords among the God-grade weapons since it also belonged in the divine construct subclass.

While he was still a demiurge, Veldanava was quite regenerative. Sometimes he just picked out a few of his bones and used it as a material. That resulted in 4 swords he created becoming divine constructs.

It was fair to say that Guy's Sekai would fare much better than most swords when up against a Genesis-grade like the Sword of Tragedy 'Veldanava'.

Guy launched himself into a clash of blades. But despite Guy using his full power, their strengths were still relative.

This time, however, Guy didn't try to push back Rimuru's blade with his own. He instead used his free hand to perform fire magic, aiming down at the ground.

Using the force it generated, Guy propelled himself up in the air. He went over Rimuru's head and attempted to attack from behind.

Guy was sure that the speed in which it happened would leave no room for Rimuru to react. But instead of Rimuru, his sword hit a barrier of sorts.

The barrier was a manifestation of darkness, and it was strong enough to not crack under Guy's strength. "Yes! Yes! This is what I want to see! Show me more of that!" He laughed.

That tactic he used was so unnecessary, even Rimuru could tell that. But not going for the most optimal movement meant he was just playing around at this point. It was true that Rimuru didn't expect him to do acrobatics, but at least Rael managed to block it.

This was the first time they attempted to fight as a group of three, so the result was yet to be seen if it worked or not. Their current formation put Rimuru as the offense, Rael as the defense and Ciel as intelligence.

At first Rimuru was doubtful of tasking Rael with defense. After all, the boy's abilites seemed to lean toward offense more than anything. He was literally a combative manas.

But it looked like Ciel's intuition was correct. Rael worked better as a shield when it came to fighting as a group. The void substances he produced were quite flexible and could take many forms. The barrier that completely blocked Guy's attack was also made out of void.

Immediately after Guy's sword was stopped, the barrier was gone. And Rimuru had quite a surprise for him.

In the palm of his hand was a fully prepared magic spell, an energy sphere forged from Black Flame-Lightning.

"Take this!" The black flame erupted, blowing Guy away. It was quite potent due to Vulcan's 'Flame Enhancement' boosting its effectiveness further.

The explosion pushed Guy backward a few meters. He wasn't badly injured, just got a couple burned wounds which healed up almost instantly. He found a steady ground and returned to his fighting stance.
