"Aren't you too impatient?"

"It has been about two thousand years, can you really blame us?" Lucia was having the time of her life, her hands roaming all over his lithe body. "You are so soft, Rimuru-chan."

Lucia Nava was an objectively beautiful woman. Even though he knew this reunion was a long coming, he still felt slightly embarrassed when Lucia directly confronted him.

"Tsk, contain yourself. Despite all these times, you still haven't developed self-control." Rimuru acted up, attempting to elicit a reaction from her. He was looking for one in particular.

Lucia knew her husband well. Smirking arrogantly, she understood what she had to do. It might have been a long time, yet her instinct was still sharp due to Chloe.

She gripped Rimuru's wrist tightly. Not so much as to hurt him, but to be assertive. She knew that Rimuru acted up because he wanted her to take action.

In the last two thousand years, a lot had changed, yet this man's preference for women remained largely the same. Impressive.

Her free hand went to caress his cheek. So soft, so addictive. She always wanted to feel him in the flesh. Well, he wasn't literally in the flesh right now, being just an out-of-place soul, but it was close enough for her.

He was overwhelmingly adorable, and it just made her want to squeeze him and pinch him. In a traditional Lucia's fashion, when she saw something so pure, so untouched, she just wanted to corrupt it.

Rimuru wasn't an exception. In fact, he was the main target of Lucia's fascinations.

"Now, now, we know that you are quite independent. But we don't appreciate your tone whatsoever," Lucia whispered.

"What will you do? Punishing me?"

"Is that a challenge?"

Most people would recognize this as an obvious trap and avoid it, but Rimuru wasn't a coward. "Try me," Rimuru dared her to put the money where her mouth was.

Self-preservation? With a wife like this, who would need that?

"You will learn your lesson." Her hand, which had been pinching her husband's cheek all this time, moved to his chin and gripped on it firmly.

She tilted his head up, making him look up to her, as it should be. Her thumb brushed across Rimuru's lips, preparing it to be taken.

"Let's change your attitude, shall we?"

Without a modicum of shyness, Rimuru and Lucia had their eyes locked. For the lack of a better word, Lucia knew her dragon well. He might have grown out of his Veldanava day, but in the end, it was still the same soul.

What worked well on Veldanava was, at the very least, quite useful on Rimuru.

When dealing with a True Dragon, you must find a delicate balance between hardness and softness.

If you were being too harsh with them, they would have a hissy fit. And this was a True Dragon we were talking about, their little hissy fit could mean doom for civilizations nearby.

However, you shouldn't spoil them too much either. A spoiled True Dragon was needy and required a lot of attention, just look at how Velgrynd ended up as.

Then again, if you were to ignore your True Dragon partner altogether, that was just a tragedy waiting to happen. Guy Crimson didn't handle Velzard correctly, and that wouldn't end well for anyone.

Anyway, it was a waste of time to think about other people's mistakes. Lucia had done everything right in her relationship; between her and Veldanava-Rimuru was a relationship built on mutual trust.
