Massacre of the Invaders

Falmuth's first invasion was a success thanks to the compound barrier, that was the Anti-magic Area installed by the Luminaries and the Prison Field created from the magic devices.

The devices were placed in every cardinal direction, each was guarded by the allies' forces. Rimuru wanted to destroy the Church's annoying toys first, and the signal to start attacking was...

'It's time to start!' Apito was flying above the North detachment. From here she could see the pitch-black barrier Rimuru created. The inside of that barrier became its own dimension. The Anti-magic Area was gone, signaling Apito and others to start their massacre.

Gaining access to Magicules again, the victory was within their reach. "Attack!" Apito dished out an order.

Apito possessed a rare attribute among insectoids, the 'Queen' attribute, which allowed her to create and control insects. Her personal army consisted of the Army Wasps, followed by almost ten thousands of regular wasps. All of them were born from her Magicules and received direct orders from Thought Communication.

"Wait! These things are-"

"Why are they here-"

"No! No! Go away-"

The soldiers' screams were cut off, as well as their heads. The Army Wasps moved at supersonic speed. Only death awaited those who got their attention.

They were called 'Silent Killers,' armed with sharp claws and deadly poison.

An Army Wasp alone by itself was an A-rank threat, but a swarm of it would be considered a Special A-rank threat.

They decapitated every soldier in their path. Only a slight movement would trigger them to attack. Those who survived the initial attacks would succumb to the poison in the end.

While the wasps that were smaller in size claimed their victims by suffocating their enemies. They would also crawl into the enemies' mouths and noses to cause internal damages if they had to.

Apito descended to the ground below, looking at the despair-inducing scene her subordinates made proudly. "How disappointing. Without that tricky barrier you all are just weaklings."

All of the foot soldiers were killed. "And that leaves just you. Bucchus, isn't it?"

"You...!" A blonde muscular man cursed. He was a member of the Crusaders, 'Bucchus of Earth.'

He stood tall, surrounded by the bodies of his fallen comrades. Apito could order her Army Wasps to kill him in an instant if she wanted to, but she didn't.

"Why are there a Queen Wasp and its swarm in a place like this?! This wasn't written in the report!"

A swarm of Army Wasps with its queen were an S-rank threat to Humanity.

In this circumstance they usually had to contact the Leader of the Crusaders, Hinata. Bucchus knew he was as good as dead standing in front of the queen-type Insectar. 'Seriously though, where is Litus?!' He hoped that maybe having two Crusaders responded to the threat might increase their chances of surviving. But his colleague was nowhere to be found.

'Is she dead?' In Bucchus' moment of doubt and weakness, Apito striked with the speed that exceeded the Army Wasp's supersonic movement.

She created a steel needle called the 'Queen's Needle' and stabbed Bucchus' right shoulder. He fell to the ground immediately after Apito pulled out.

"I coated the needle with poison. It's not deadly, but it'll be the most painful feeling you'll ever feel. You might even think that death is better," she taunted Bucchus as she cleaned his blood off of her needle.
