It was a sunny morning. Feeling the warm breeze, Rimuru felt it would be a wonderful day. However, his prediction turned out to be massively wrong.

"This is a disaster! Someone has broken into the Grand Cathedral—!"

"Calm down. How many men do the enemies have; how many casualties have we sustained," Hinata said calmly.

Hinata was having breakfast with Rimuru and Masayuki. Her calmness was certainly extraordinary considering what the report entailed.

To be able to remain calm while her nation was being attacked, Hinata was the type of opponent Rimuru didn't want to go against.

It wasn't just a matter of raw power; Rimuru was inept to deal with someone like her.

"Yes, ma'am! Enemy numbers are unknown, however, it's close to a hundred men. They're at least rank B-plus. Seeing how they are acting, they know the layout of our nation very well."

Nearly a hundred B-plus ranked soldiers were a force to be reckoned with. And because they knew Lubelius' layout well, these were most likely Granbell's men.

"—Regarding casualties, several novice knights were injured. There have been several deaths and wounded among the Pope's Imperial Guards. Fortunately, no civilians have been harmed."

Had this happened in his nation, Rimuru would have gone berserk not so different from the time Falmuth did the unforgivable things to his country.

"Is that so?" Hinata replied. "Our enemies must be the head of the Seven Luminaries, Gran, and the Rosso family under his command. Inform the Crusaders awaiting orders to prepare for a full-blown assault."

The enemies also sustained heavy losses, more so than Lubelius. However, Hinata did not dare to let her guard down.

"That chaos broke out in the Grand Cathedral, you say? Isn't that the place where we set up all the instruments?"

Rimuru had a bad feeling about this. Takt and his bandmates were using the Grand Cathedral for the rehearsal, and Rimuru just figured out that there weren't a lot of Grand Cathedrals in the nation.

"There is no other facility called the Grand Cathedral except for that."

That was concerning.

Rimuru turned to his bodyguards, Shion and Carrera. But before he could give them any order, the Primordial Yellow interrupted.

"My Lord, my underling Agera has reported back to me."

The report arrived via 'Telepathy Net' a bit before the envoy. Carrera had been waiting for the novice holy knight to be done before reporting her own.

The band members were already inside the Grand Cathedral; however, the defenses around them were flawless. No suspicious individuals had been able to reach them.

The main people protecting the band were Agera and Esprit, Carrera's direct subordinates who got called by their tyrant (Carrera) to provide support with menial tasks regarding the rehearsal.

Sticking to the schedule, they had already started the rehearsal in spite of all hell breaking loose around them.

Those guys sure were bold.

Rimuru, with 'Spatial Domination', connected the space between here and the cathedral.

"I don't even have energy to mock you anymore, just take me there too."

"You are joking, right? How can one be so exhausted in the early morning?"

Hinata might not have the energy, but Rimuru did. He teased her for the fun of it before gesturing her to the portal.
