Chronoa wasn't just a True Hero. She belonged to a class called the 'Chosen One', which included her and Rudra. True Heroes were individuals endorsed by Elementals; in contrast, Chosen Ones were blessed by the stars—in other words, blessed by Veldanava himself.

In the bygone past, Veldanava forged the title from a portion of his power. When this title dwelled in a True Hero's soul, they would evolve into a Chosen One, something equivalent to the True Dragon race.

As this title was uniquely crafted, it was one of a kind. There could only be one 'Chosen One' at a time. The title was made specifically for Rudra, so he was the first to possess it. Later, it was transferred to Hero Chronoa, whom he deemed to be worthy of wielding this absolute power.

Chronoa, or commonly known as the Masked Hero, was this generation's Chosen One. When she was active, she made quite a name for herself as humanity's Savior after she sealed the Storm Dragon.

This was a power beyond any Demon Lord and any Hero; she effortlessly reached the godly realm, and Yuuki got the privilege of experiencing that power directly.

As Yuuki was running away with the stolen Hero in his arms, the unexpected just happened. The last seal broke, the sleeping Hero had destroyed it in her subconscious. There was nothing left to isolate her from the outside world anymore.

The purpose of the Holy Ark became clear in this instance; it was not to protect the Masked Hero, but to protect everything from her. In her current state, Chronoa was like the Goddess of Calamity more than the famous Hero.

The black-haired girl's body erupted with radiant light, pushing Yuuki away. Even Laplace and Footman were taken off guard by this sudden attack from the beauty they had assumed to be inactive.

When the light died down, the Hero was standing silently. She was naked like a newborn before, but now she was donning a simple white dress and hood. She was like a ghost. Her body was ethereal, surrounded by divine, captivating light. The complexion of her skin became ghostly pale as well.

"Boss, what just happened?!"

"It seems like she has abandoned her material body and become wholly spiritual." Yuuki recovered from the burst of immense strength, sustaining only minor injuries that quickly healed.

Yuuki's eyes roamed over her body in an attempt to gauge her strength. Later, he clicked his tongue. "We've been fooled. That damn old man tricked us. The Holy Empire's secret weapon cannot be controlled."

Granbell knew this fact well, and yet he still tricked Yuuki, giving him false hope that maybe with the help of the 'Anti-Skill', he might be able to control her. But he had seen the depth of her strength, he realized just how helpless he was.

Granbell's true intention was not for Yuuki to control her, but to unleash her. He expected her to be a weapon of unmatched destruction. By releasing her on the land of Lubelius, Granbell anticipated the unsealed Hero to eradicate everyone here.

"Boss, we should take advantage of it while she is spacing out. Let's run as if our lives depend on it. No, no, our lives depend on it for real," said Laplace.

"Figured. That woman is on a different level. If we dare to challenge her, it will only be an attempted suicide." Yuuki nodded.

Chronoa remained in place; so if they wanted to run away, this was the right time.

"..."

"Argh!"

They were, however, just a bit too late. Suddenly, the hooded Chronoa was standing behind Yuuki and the clowns. Looking down, they could see their bloody, pierced chests.
