Razul was much stronger than the last time. When he attacked Tempest, he had lost to Benimaru and Zegion who at the time were just Demon Lord Seeds.

However, he was now keeping up with Carrera who was fully awakened.

He had reached the level rivaled that of a True Demon Lord. Razul might be as strong as Zegion. He had become a vessel of absolute power, exchanging his intelligence for this raw strength.

Razul came from the Insectoid race; in fact, he was among the elites. He used to serve directly under the Insect Lord, but had already abandoned that cause a long time ago. He now fought for Granbell and his dream.

The Insectoids were fiercely loyal. The trait had been eugenically chosen by the Insect Lord to discourage rebellion within the race. It led to most of the Insectoids having little to no ambition of their own.

This trait of theirs satisfied the King's cowardly nature, but it was to their demerits.

The gods favored the bold; only those with strong ambition could possess things like Skills, which meant the Insectoids could not.

Zegion and Apito were outliers. It was quite obvious. They were named and had Ciel to assist them in the acquisitions of Skills.

Other Insectoids, Razul included, were not as lucky though. Razul expressed stronger will than most Insects, courtesy of him being named by Granbell.

He devoted his whole life to Granbell, willing to do any of his biddings. This desire to serve was so strong to the point that he would sacrifice his life to fulfill Granbell's plan, and that was exactly what he did.

Built for wars and conflicts, Insectoids were talented fighters, yet this curse of lineage had prevented him from getting stronger.

Seeking an honorable end, Razul asked to be killed by Granbell himself.

In his death, the curse of the father was lifted, and so he could get far stronger than the limit that the Insect Lord had set for him.

After Razul had been killed, Granbell had revived him with the 'Raise Dead' spell.

He had become like Granbell's beloved Maria, a golem fueled by souls.

And so, that vessel of absolute strength was facing Rimuru's subordinates.

'I have to win as it is the Lord's order.'

Carrera, the Primordial Yellow, had her eyes set onto the victory. She could not afford to lose this fight, or else Great Rimuru would never trust her with any duty again. She could not allow that to happen.

Carrera was desperate, but not because of Razul. Her desperation was internal instead of external. She feared Rimuru more than any enemy, fearing that she would fail to meet his expectations.

As the last of the 'Devil Girls' to join Rimuru's cause, she often saw herself as lesser than the other two. Those two had recognized Rimuru's greatness before her, and she envied them for it.

'I will prove I am as good, if not better than that big-boobed woman and that brat.'

She steeled her resolve and pulled out her God-class Golden Gun. With her preferred weapon equipped, Carrera boasted the highest amount of Magicules among his subordinates.

But let's be honest, raw strength would not amount to much if it wasn't optimized and used well. She begrudgingly accepted the fact that Diablo and Zegion could beat her.

In fact, Carrera had recognized Zegion as her rival. Razul, who hailed from the same race as him, would serve as a decent practice. And unlike in a fight with Zegion, she did not have to hold back since this guy didn't possess Rimuru's cells.
