Clayman left his seat. He looked rather satisfied, glancing at all the Demon Lords. Then he transformed this meeting room into his personal stage.

He explained the causes behind this Walpurgis smugly. His words were overwhelmingly formal and unnecessarily lengthy. These were the allegations he made:

One, Demon Lord Carrion had instigated Rimuru to proclaim himself a Demon Lord. Clayman claimed that the Beast Master's Brigade stationed in Tempest was the proof.

Two, Rimuru tempted Falmuth to attack the Great Jura Forest, then using it as an excuse to harm humans.

Three, Rimuru defeated the Kingdom of Falmuth and proclaimed himself a Demon Lord with Carrion backing him up behind the scene.

He thought Carrion's actions were violations of the rules among the Demon Lords.

Chronologically, his claims made no sense, but it was difficult to prove otherwise.

Clayman added even more.

"My subordinate, Mjurran, who informed me this information has been murdered by that majin named Rimuru. That's why I have decided to avenge her."

What an act! His performance was worthy of an award.

"Carrion and this Rimuru have planned to kill me. However, Mjurran was able to inform me with her last bit of strength through 'Thought Communication.'"

He looked emotional. It could be called a piece of art with how handsome he looked and how great his posture was. Clayman was like a marble sculpture, and Rimuru felt the urge to hit him with a sledgehammer.

Clayman accused Rimuru of attempting to kill him and take his seat with Carrion being the mastermind behind this scheme.

'Yeah... That Carrion is a scheming mastermind... Because that makes sense, right?'

Though annoyed by Clayman's unholy amount of confidence, Rimuru could not help but find his claim kind of hilarious.

Carrion was by no means stupid, but Rimuru wouldn't call him a genius mastermind either. Someone who was called 'Marionnette Master' should know.

Lycanthropes were fighters first and strategists second. It was difficult to perceive them as a scheming type. Especially Carrion who was well-known for his pride and integrity.

Then he went on a tangent about the details of Carrion's betrayal.

Moving by rage upon hearing that, Milim went on to destroy the Beast Kingdom of Eurazania and buried Carrion beneath the rubbles.

He scolded her later for acting out of impulse without any solid evidence. Milim began to admire him and asked for his help a lot.

"Isn't that right, Milim?"

"Sure, that happened," Milim said.

But it wasn't like she paid attention to Clayman's speech. Instead, she kept staring at Ciel like a wolf observing its prey. That glare was unnerving.

'Oh, the many things I would subject that bastard Clayman to once I get my hands on him.'

Rimuru was wrathful, but Ciel couldn't blame him, seeing your own daughter being exploited could turn any parent into a murderer. They said 'Fear is the mind killer,' but anger wasn't much better either.

"With that, I conclude my testimony. Now that we know the story from start to finish. I propose that we kill this despicable slime for daring to come up with this conspiracy and proclaim himself a Demon Lord."

Clayman acted high and mighty. The Demon Lords were quite patient, listening to his testimony fully.

But not everyone paid attention though. Dino was sleeping. Ramiris was reading her manga. Guy and Velzard were engaging in playful flirting. Velzard sat on Guy's lap with her arm around his neck. She cuddled him, and Guy just let it happen.
