Now, I think all of you probably think "Hey, didn't you say you have an exam?" Yes, I did, and I also manifested this chapter in my free time.
Joke aside, I already tested on the out-of-schedule subjects like Thai and English.
What's left for me is Spanish and Japanese in the middle and the end of the month respectively. If it was possible, I might be able to write another chapter in maybe the next 10 days before going back to the usual schedule.
I named this chapter "The Sound of Bad Habit" not only because it suits the chapter but also because writing a chapter out of impulse might not be the best habit of mine. Still a good album though.

"Stop running! You are making this harder for both of us!" Rimuru shouted as he chased after Velda through the vibrant field of colorful flowers.
"Are you crazy?! You are going to kill me!"
"Yes, that's the point!"
Rimuru wanted to get rid of this man who had caused suffering for his daughter. Was this 'on sight' approach a little bit too extreme? Maybe. But was it uncalled for? Absolutely not.
This was a consequence of his past actions coming back to haunt him.
He ran as fast as he could, but Rimuru, with his relentless pursuit, kept closing the gap between them.
"Why are you so fast?!" Seeing this whole situation to be unfair, Velda whined.
But Rimuru couldn't care less. "Got you!" His slender hand managed to grab onto Velda's hair and yanked it. "You have nowhere to run!" Driven by rage, Rimuru bashed the Manas' face on the cobblestone trail.
"Hey, that hurts!"
"As it should be!"
He would never forgive a person who played a role in the suffering of his beloved daughter.
Most of the time, Rimuru didn't hold grudges. He befriended the Ogres even if they attacked him first, allowed Falmuth to reform even if they waged war on his nation, and Hinata wasn't punished that harshly despite trying to assassinate him.
But Velda's case was different from the ones being mentioned. He had targeted Milim, and that by itself was unacceptable.
Rimuru didn't see Milim as just his daughter; for him, she was also proof of the union between him and Lucia. Rimuru saw what Velda had done as a direct insult to his legacy.
He kicked the side of the Manas to flip him over, making Velda look up to the sky of nothingness. "Ouch! Why does a twink with attitude have this much strength in the first place?"
Rimuru sat on top of Velda, looking straight at his face.
So, this is what they mean when they say looks can be deceiving.
Undeniably, Manas Velda was a handsome man. He would have been popular among girls if it wasn't for his demeanor.
"I remember that I let Ciel deal with you. How did you end up here, then?" Rimuru said, not expecting any answer from Velda.
"Well, she let me live."
"Oh? Maybe she knows what I want and keeps you alive for me to vent out my anger. She's a considered partner, isn't she?"
Since Ciel would be his official wife soon, talking about her here did remind him of another interaction he had with Velda. "Didn't you also say that I should find a better woman when we were talking about Lucia?"
