The Demon Lords had returned to their respective domains, the attendants did the same. Only Rimuru and Guy remained in this dimension.
The table that used to hold at least 10 people shrunk into a smaller one, just enough for the two of them.
Before doing anything else, Guy took out a bottle of wine out of Spatial Storage, pouring it for himself. "Do you want some as well, or do you prefer orange juice instead?"
Guy just wanted to be respectful, maybe Rimuru just didn't like wine. He was avoiding it like plagues during the feast after all. 'it was fine for someone to have a poor taste in drinks,' Guy thought.
"No, wine is fine with me."
He only avoided wine because it was Rael who did the eating. He wasn't sure if that boy could get drunk from it, but Rimuru still didn't want to risk getting his Manas intoxicated.
Guy nodded slowly then poured a glass of it for Rimuru. "This kind of centuries-olds wine is not easy to find in the market, you know? So you better appreciate it!" Guy said before sipping on his own glass.
"Is it really okay for me to drink something so high-class like this?"
"Why even bother asking? Aren't you already a king of your domain? Are you implying that you're not familiar with luxurious lifestyles?" Guy asked with a hint of surprise.
It wasn't like Rimuru had never experienced a luxurious lifestyle before, he had servants who were willing to do everything for him, and Tempest itself had many conveniences that couldn't be found anywhere else.
"Like, I don't indulge in it that much. I drink tea daily, but rarely drink alcoholic beverages like wine or brandy."
"But why though?"
"Because alcohol's an enemy of productivity, and if Shuna ever catches me in a drunken state..." Rimuru said as his body shuddered. He couldn't underestimate how strict Shuna was, she always made sure that Rimuru got the paperwork done.
"Shuna? I assume she's your subordinate, correct?"
"Yeah."
Guy then casually said, "If my subordinates try to stop me from enjoying a glass of wine, I will just get rid of them."
However, their circumstances were pretty different.
"I'm not as cruel as you," Rimuru said.
"Fair enough." Guy had a smug expression. He probably took that as a compliment despite the fact that it was not.
Shuna might be strict, but what she did was for the best. If Rimuru only had those yes-men like Diablo and Shion around him, he was sure that no work would be done, so Shuna's presence was well-appreciated by him.
But enough about this story, Rimuru placed the glass of wine down after a few sips. "So, what do you want to talk to me about?" Since Guy was waiting for other Demon Lords to go back first, and wanted Rimuru to dismiss his subordinates, it was certainly a serious matter.
Before he spoke, Guy took a better look at Rimuru now that they were sitting this close. Rimuru was a bit shorter and younger, undoubtedly hiding his True Form the same way Milim did.
'Didn't he have a horn when he hit me? Is it also hidden just like Milim's horn? Wait, am I hallucinating that up?' Guy wasn't sure, it was the first time in a while to be knocked unconscious, so maybe his memories got a bit fuzzy.
Still, what he saw was undeniably the same template of horn as Veldanava and Feldway. 'If it isn't an illusion, then that should be the confirmation I need to classify him as one of those.'
