After making sure the children were safe, Rimuru teleported everyone to Ingrassia with his Spatial Domination. At first Rimuru wanted to travel back to Tempest, but the kids begged him to stay, especially Chloe who tried her hardest.
He promised them he would stay here for a little longer. Now that they got their powers under control, it might be the right time to give them proper training.
"I got weapons for everyone!" The equipment was chosen to suit the kids' talents and Elemental Spirits, each equipment reached a rare grade.
Kenya got a longsword, Ryota got a bow, Gale got a shield, Alice got kunais and Chloe got a rapier.
Ramiris became a mentor for Alice. She could control the kunais to float in the air and follow her commands. She used to practice using dolls before, but changing to sharp objects like this would make her a formidable opponent.
At the same time, Rimuru taught Ryota about archery. He set an example by shooting the exact center of the target hanging on a tree. "So cool..."
"It's not as hard as it looks. Ryota-kun also has Wind Elemental, it probably helps with your aim, I think."
While he was Ingrassia, Rimuru hadn't practiced with his bow. It was a good thing his skill hadn't declined yet. Rimuru could create arrows from his magicules, but it worked well only because Rimuru had a large amount of magicules in the first place. 'Should I teach him how to do it? It might do more harm than good.'
Running out of magicules could put him in danger even with the Elemental in his body. 'Though Humans suffer less than monsters when it comes to magicule insufficiency. I should prioritize safety over anything else.'
Kenya, Gale and Chloe were training with Shizu-san. They might outnumber her, but Shizu-san still had the upper hand. But for someone who got to hold a weapon for the first time, Chloe sure had a lot of innate potential.
Looking at how Chloe held her rapier, those movements reminded Rimuru of something he felt like he had seen before. 'That looks like...'
After Shizu-san's training ended, Rimuru called Chloe in for questioning. "Chloe-chan, where did you learn to swing your sword like that?"
"I don't know... I just feel like I can do it, and then my body moves on its own," she explained.
'The spirit inside her might have something to do with it.' Those movements reminded Rimuru of Rudra's fighting style.
Ramiris said that the spirit inside Chloe was Time's Chosen Vessel, and she was born in the future. 'Are there any chances this spirit has some ties with the Eastern Empire as well?'
"Do you want to spar with me? Wait, you just finished your training with Shizu-san, I asked to soon-"
"I want to!" Chloe interrupted.
She was eager to train with Rimuru. Clashing swords with her made Rimuru more aware of how much of a prodigy she was. Her mastery was as good as Rimuru's, despite him strictly following Hakurou's training plan and Chloe was literally a newbie when it came to sword.
'I knew it! It really is Rudra's technique! But why...' It wasn't like he could question the spirit inside Chloe since it laid dormant as soon as it possessed her. But Rimuru was sure it was that spirit's doing.
Rimuru thought of this as the best opportunity to learn a fighting style his pupil invented, even though he had to learn it through a little girl. 'Do your best, Raphael-san!'
«Understood!» She was always reliable when it came to stealing techniques.
Rimuru's routine within the walls of Ingrassia remained mostly the same. With him mostly spending time with Shizu-san and the students, and checking on his business from time to time.
