The change to Ciel went unnoticed by his subordinates. Veldora and Ramiris, who were already aware of Ciel's existence, were smart enough to not blow her cover and face her wrath.
Meanwhile Rimuru's subordinates only saw it as a seriousness befitting for the situation. They all watched as a blue-haired maid walked through as the doors opened.
Then she bowed towards Ramiris. "I have come to escort you, Lady Ramiris. That includes Lord Veldora and Sir Rimuru as well." Her voice was angelic. She stepped back and lowered her eyes, her sense of professionalism resembled Diablo and Testarossa in more ways than one.
Speaking of them, Diablo and Testarossa eyed the maid to test their disguises. Which worked perfectly. Due to their presences being masked by Ciel, the maid didn't see them as daemons in the first place.
'Ugh. Why do they stare at me like that? What's their problem?' She might express herself in acts of professionalism Lord Guy demanded from her, but deep down Rain was anything but that.
'They give me bad vibes, but I don't know why.' Avoiding making eye contact with the strange pair, Rain moved to inspect others instead. 'Oh, an insectar. What a rare sight to see their kind here.'
It concerned her a little to see an aggressor here, but Rain comforted herself silently. Telling herself that a primordial of her caliber could hold her own against an insectar despite the direct disadvantage.
'He looks menacing, yet calm. I hate this kind of opponent the most, the one that I can't read what they're thinking. Is he thinking less of me? Looking down on me? So irritating!'
The armored insect was a stark contrast to the ogre standing next to him. She was expressive and Rain could clearly sense her unparalleled confidence. 'That majin. What is she? A kijin? No, her magicules say otherwise. An oni? Whatever she is, her aura is similar to us daemons for some reasons.'
And lastly was the slime who was the main topic of this banquet. 'Yikes...' Rain tried to analyze Rimuru, but she saw nothing. Quite literally in fact. There was a thin, unseen barrier which repelled Magic Perception and Appraisal Analysis completely.
There were those who showed off their magicules like Dagruel. There were those who faked the amount of their magicules to trick untrained eyes like Guy. But she had never seen someone so protective of this non-essential information before.
"Good to see you again, Rain-chan! How is Guy doing?"
"I wouldn't dare to worry about Lord Guy," she replied with a meek, yet angelic voice.
"Ah, you're still the same." Ramiris, in her pixie form, flew through the gate. She could just enter the door as a queen, yet she chose not to. Not because she was humble or something like that, she was probably waiting for the most dramatic moment to show off her regained power.
Such tricks were learnt from animes and mangas she indulged in with Veldora, no doubt.
"Lady first," said Veldora in an encouraging tone. He knew Velzard would be waiting on the other side, thinking it was going to be awkward, he wanted Ciel to lead the way.
Ciel walked gracefully into the dimensional portal within the doors, it was another form of spatial transportation. Which was certainly fascinating for the Manas.
Diablo and Shion followed not far behind like obedient servants. Veldora was the last to enter with Zegion and Testarossa acting as his attendants.
