Elijah's hands shook as he stood before
Dimitri, the CCTV footage replaying in
his mind, showing every second Crystal
was taken away. His rage boiled over,
and he raised his gun, pointing it
straight at Dimitri's forehead. "Give her
back, now" Elijah demanded, his voice
low but trembling with fury.Dimitri, seated comfortably, showed no
sign of fear. Instead, he gazed at the
screen, watching the footage of Crystal
being dragged away, unconscious. His
lips curled into a slow, twisted smile."Look at her, Elijah. Even in this state,
she's beautiful, isn't she? She's mine. My
perfect little doll"Elijah's hand gripped the gun tighter.
"Don't you dare call her that," he hissed.
"She's my sister, and if you don't let her
go, I'll end this right here.'Dimitri chuckled darkly, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Your sister? You're mistaken, Elijah. Crystal doesn't belong to you anymore. She's mine now." He leaned forward, meeting Elijah's glare.
"And I don't plan on letting her go. Ever."
From upstairs, Crystal's heart pounded
as she recognized Elijah's voice. Her
body ached, but she forced herself out
of bed, realizing that for the first time,
the door to her room was left unlocked.
Her legs wobbled beneath her, the pain
still fresh, but the hope of seeing her
brother gave her the strength to stand."Elijah!" she called, her voice weak but
filled with desperation.Elijah's eyes snapped to the staircase,
his breath catching at the sight of his
sister. "Crystal?" He turned, ready to run to her.But before Crystal could take a step
toward him, Dimitri's voice cut through
the air, sharp and commanding. "Go
back." His voice carried a lethal threat
that froze Crystal in place.Elijah's eyes darted between Dimitri and his sister. "Don't you dare talk to her like that," he snarled, pushing the gun closer to Dimitri's head.
Dimitri didn't flinch. He kept his gaze on Crystal, his tone dripping with menace. "Go back inside, Crystal. Lock the door. Now."
Tears welled in her eyes as Crystal
looked at her brother, torn between the
fear of what Dimitri might do and the
need to be free. She took a step back,
her body trembling."Crystal, don't" Elijah pleaded, but the
look in Dimitri's eyes sent a wave of
terror through her."I won't say it again," Dimitri warned, his
voice cold. Slowly, he pulled out his gun
and pointed it at Elijah. "You know what
happens if you disobey, doll."Crystal's breath hitched as she saw the
gun aimed at her brother. Her mind
raced, knowing Dimitri was more than
capable of pulling the trigger. She had
no choice. She swallowed the lump in
her throat and retreated back into her
room, her heart breaking with each step.
She shut the door, locking it as ordered,
tears streaming down her face."My sister was here this whole time, and
you lied to me," Elijah spat, his voice
shaking with a mixture of disbelief and
anger. "You took her, you"Dimitri stood up slowly, brushing off his
suit, completely unbothered by the gun
pressed against his forehead. "I didn't
take her," he said calmly. "She's mine,
Elijah. She came to me. She just meant to be mine "Elijah's face twisted in fury. "What the
hell are you talking about? Crystal is not
yours!"Dimitri's smile widened, a sick kind of
pride gleaming in his eyes. "Oh, but she
is. She's my doll. My perfect, fragile doll.
And she belongs to me.""What did you do to her?" Elijah
demanded, his voice raw with pain and
rage.Dimitri's eyes sparkled with amusement.
"I didn't do anything "
he said. "Even she is a stubborn. But don't
worry , I just can't bring myself to hurt her "
Elijah's finger twitched on the trigger, his
hand shaking with fury. "You bastard, I
swear I'II kill you."Dimitri leaned closer, daring him. "Go
ahead" he whispered. "Pull the trigger.
Let's see what happens."Elijah's breath came in ragged gasps as
he fought the urge to shoot, his mind
racing with conflicting thoughts. He
wanted to end this nightmare, but his
father's voice interrupted his rage."Elijah, we need to go," his father said
from behind, his voice calm but urgent.
"This isn't the time."Elijah didn't move, his eyes still locked
on Dimitri. "We're taking Crystal back,"
he growled through gritted teeth.Dimitri tilted his head, his smile never
fading."No one will take my doll away
from me. Not now. Not ever."Elijah glared at him, his voice shaking
with hatred. "What is this doll' thing?
Why do you keep calling her that?"Dimitri's gaze softened in a way that
made Elijah's skin crawl. "Because that's
what she is, Elijah. My doll. My
possession. Mine to protect, to care for.
You wouldn't understand.""Don't talk about her like that," Elijah
seethed. "She's not an object. She's a
person. She's my sister!"Dimitri's expression darkened. "Not
anymore. She's mine now."Elijah lunged forward, but his father
grabbed his arm, holding him back.
"Let's go, son. We'll get her back. But
not like this."As they walked away, Dimitri's voice
followed them, calm and sinister.
"Remember, Elijah. No one takes my doll from me. No one."
