Dimitri moved closer, his gaze sharp and intense, causing Crystal to instinctively step back. As he reached her, he grabbed her hand firmly, pulling her toward him and positioning her by his side, his grip on her wrist unrelenting.

Elijah glared at Dimitri, his voice raised in frustration. “How can you leave her alone outside  after attaching your name to her?”

Dimitri’s expression remained cool, his voice steady. “Relax,” he said dismissively. “I’ve told you before—no one touches what’s mine.”

“You’re taking this matter far too lightly, Dimitri. Don’t assume we can’t do anything about it,” Elijah warned, his voice simmering with anger.

Dimitri smirked, tightening his hold on Crystal, who winced but looked away to hide her reaction. “I’m waiting for you to try. And as for her…” He glanced down at Crystal, his voice laced with bitterness. “Even your sister is desperate to leave me.”

Elijah’s jaw clenched. “Your confidence only holds because you have leverage over us. That’s all.”

Crystal’s eyes flickered in confusion, wondering what Elijah meant by "leverage."

Elijah’s eyes narrowed. “But just wait. I’ll make my move soon enough, and I’ll hit you exactly where it hurts.”

Dimitri chuckled darkly. “You’re always welcome to try. But here’s the truth—there’s nothing you can use to control me. I don’t break.”

Elijah held his gaze, his face defiant. “We’ll see about that.”

Turning his attention back to Crystal, Dimitri’s tone hardened. “Say goodbye to your brother, doll.”

Crystal looked away, defiance in her silence.

With a cold smile, Dimitri shrugged. “Not in the mood, I guess.”

"Then we take leave "He started to pull her along, his grip firm and unyielding.

“Let me go!” Crystal protested, her voice strained as he dragged her forward. But Dimitri ignored her, his expression set, his steps steady, as if her pleas were nothing more than whispers lost in the wind.
