"Hey." Taylor grinned at Karlie as she briefly took in the model's appearance.
Woah.

Karlie looked breathtaking in her strapless red dress that ran down to her knees, showing off her especially attractive shoulders while wrapping her in a deep rich texture that made her stand out in the crowd, not that she needed a dress to make than happen. No wonder, schools don't like bare shoulders. Distracting.
You look....Taylor for the first time couldn't really find the words to describe it verbally.

Taylor quickly looked back at the model whose eyes were fixed on her intently, as if she was thinking the same thing and Taylor felt the warmth of her cheeks before she finally leaned forward to hug the brunette.
Except, the hug wasn't the same as they always did. Taylor felt Karlie's arms grip her around the waist as she held her by the neck. Tight. It was tight. As if she didn't want to let her go, and the blonde found herself holding her the same way. If hugs could feel electric, this would be it. Taylor could feel her skin tingling as the heat radiated from Karlie's body. "What took you so long?" Karlie breathed, the hot air blowing against the singer's ears. Great, more goosebumps.

The singer quickly recovered, reluctantly pulling out of the hug even though Karlie's hand didn't leave her body as the model simply held her loosely by the waist.
"What do you mean? It's called being fashionably late." Taylor winked, watching as Karlie's intense gaze turned into a cheeky grin.
About time too, I don't think anyone can handle that stare

"Mmm. Someone's got the fashionable part right." Karlie replied, grinning as she looked at the singer's dress again. Taylor felt the blush coming back again as she tried to play it off. "I could say the same about you, but that's nothing new now is it?" Karlie simply smirked back in reply but she could see the flustered look on the model's face as she looked away towards Gigi who was standing by watching this meeting take place.
So it's not just me then...

"Taylor! It's been so long!" Gigi rushed towards the blonde, snapping her out of her thoughts. No time to think on it now, Taylor.

"It has!" The singer stepped forward to hug the model as she felt Karlie's hand drop from her waist. Taylor felt the loss but she shrugged it off as she greeted Gigi, another beautiful woman Taylor agreed as she said this to her, but it wasn't the same as how she would describe Karlie tonight.

"I'm glad you're here." Gigi commented as they started walking towards the bar. "Karlie couldn't stop talking about you all evening, asking me why you weren't here every 15 minutes." Gigi laughed as Taylor shot an amused glance towards the now blushing model.
"Yeah well, she gets a little clingy at times." Taylor smirked, before putting an arm around the brunette as if to find a way to tell her that she was too, before she got here.

Taylor was considerably having an amazing night as she found that Gigi was in fact great company and very much a fun girl to hang out with. The three women did their rounds at the party, occasionally joined by Jaime who seemed to have already known Gigi pretty well. They found themselves talking Poppy Delevingne and Heidi Klum by the time Taylor was on her second drink, which was actually quite late in the night since Taylor had refrained from drinking much tonight.

The girls even jammed to a few songs and frequently took to the dance floor when there wasn't anybody to talk to.
Taylor was in a pretty good mood throughout the night. How could she not? What with Gigi and Karlie flanking her and making sure they all had a good time while introducing each other to people they knew and with the party being a high profile pre oscar party and all, the guests would pretty much leave you starstruck but the women managed to keep their cool when Meryl Streep came over again to talk to three of them.
