A/N: this chapter is going to be really short but I promise the next one will be longer.
"Hey guys, I have to ask you something," Aubrey said with an excited look in her eye.
"What?" Chloe said.
"So I want to have an aca-reunion for all the acapella groups at Barden. It would probably be next summer, and we'd have everyone come back to Barden and we'd have a riff off. Chloe was really excited until she glanced up at Beca.
"I can't go," Beca said sadly.
"Why?" Aubrey said "You helped the Bella's win. You need to be there."
"Bri," Chloe said softly, "Can I talk to you in the other room?"
Beca sat at the table with a blank expression on her face.
Aubrey got up from the table and followed Chloe into her bedroom.
"Beca and Jesse broke up," Chloe whispered so Beca wouldn't hear.
"They did?!" Aubrey loudly whispered back.
"Yeah. I still feel like it was my fault," Chloe said talking a little bit louder.
"How?" Aubrey asked.
"I had been keeping her really busy with my voice, and she forgot to text Jesse and he got mad and broke up with her."
"Chlo, it wasn't your fault," Beca said, walking into the room.
"I'm so sorry, Becs," Aubrey said, hugging the smaller girl.
"Nah I'm pretty much over it. I just can't face Jesse."
"Would you go if I stuck by your side the entire time?" Chloe asked.
Beca looked back at the redhead. "I don't know, Chlo. If I go, I want to have a good time, and I can't do that if I know Jesse is there."
"It's ok, Aubrey said. You have time to think about it."
