"Bec, stop at Walmart," Chloe said.
"Why, Beca replied, turning down her music.
"Let's make Anna dinner."
"Ok."
"Run in and get stuff to make meatloaf and spaghetti. We'll make her dinner for two nights. I'll stay with the dogs."
"Sounds good."Beca climbed back into the car after putting the groceries in the back seat.
"Hey, Beca?" Chloe looked at the brunette.
"What?" Beca answered, not looking up from Candy Crush.
"Can we maybe get a dog or a cat?" Chloe pleaded.
"We'll see. Maybe if these three hours go well," Beca said to the ginger. When the girls got home, Chloe cooked the meal and Beca watched the dogs. Then they drove back to Anna's.
"Hey, she called from the living room."
"How's your leg?" Chloe asked.
"Well seeing as it's only been 3 hours, exactly the same," Anna said sarcastically. "What's that?" Anna said pointing at the container Beca was holding.
"Spaghetti," Beca answered.
"Aww thanks guys," Anna smiled.
"I'll save that for tomorrow. I wanted to take you out to dinner to thank you for watching the dogs."
"Are you sure you're up to it?" Chloe asked.
"Yeah. I took some painkillers about an hour ago. I'll be fine. We'll take a cab so we don't have to walk far."
"I guess that works," Beca said.
"Let's go to Red Lobster," Chloe said.
"Ok, there's one right downtown," Anna said. The girls had to walk about a block to get to the nearest place a taxi would stop. It took them twice the time, but they made it.
"How you holding up, Anna," Beca asked.
"Fine," she said.
"Really because I would be lying on the couch right now if I were you. I wouldn't even leave my house," Chloe said. Anna was a lot more athletic then Beca and Chloe.
"Yeah. I drank WAY too much coffee today, so I have to burn some energy off anyway," Anna said. Chloe hailed a cab and they all climbed in.
"Hey, I remember you," the cab driver said. "I was your waiter and I made you really mad. Well I got fired," he said.
"You gonna leave us alone this time?" Chloe asked. She didn't want Beca to be upset again.
"Who's this?" Anna asked.
"Oh some guy that treated us like shit at Olive Garden," Beca fired back.
"I see Little Red can talk now, but this time you brought your crippled friend."
"Shut up!" Anna said.
"Why'd you take a cab if it was only a mile long walk to this place," the guy said.
"Because we wanted to make it easier for our friend," Chloe said as she climbed out of the car. She grabbed Anna's hand and helped pull her out. Beca threw a five dollar bill at the cab driver and handed Anna her crutches. She jumped out of the car and they walked into Red Robin.
After the meal, Chloe suggested they go shopping.
"Ok," Anna said. "I need some new foundation anyway."
"Fine, Beca said."
She didn't like shopping that much. "I guess I could look for some headphones," Beca said.
"Becs, you have 11 pairs. Get some dresses," Chloe said.
"Yeah," Anna said, "I could see you in pink lace."
"NEVER," Beca said triumphantly. "My badassness will not be defeated by pink lace."
"Says the girl in a purple shirt," Chloe fired back.
"To be fair, I did get that for her," Anna said sticking up for Beca.
"And I'm only wearing it because there wasn't a gift receipt," Beca said. They walked into the mall.
"Oooh," Anna said. "Let's go into forever 30!!! I call it that cause I can still make it work."
"Oh my god," Chloe laughed
"Dude, you're so weird," Beca giggled...only for a second and then she stopped.
"I get it, it wasn't that funny," Anna smiled.
"Becs, what's wrong," Chloe said.
"There's Jesse."
"What is he doing here?!?" Anna said.
"I don't know but I can't face him," Beca said, turning around.
