Beca slowly opened the door, and she was really afraid to see her. She walked in and started uncontrollably sobbing. She collapsed on the ground and continued to cry until she felt strong arms lift her up. She spun around to see Jesse standing there crying. "It's ok, she'll be ok."

"But Jesse, look at her, it's killing me." Beca was right. Chloe was in life support, and the machine was breathing for her. Her neck was in a brace, her right arm and left leg were in casts, and she had cuts and bruises everywhere. "I can't see her like this," she said as she ran out of the room and collapsed on the floor in the hallway.

Jesse came out of the room and sat in the floor next to Beca and lifted her onto his lap. "Listen, Chloe's a fighter, she'll get through this. And you, Beca, you need to stay strong for her. You're her best friend, and she loves you so much, now please come in and talk to her. She'll be ok."

Beca sobbed into his shirt. "But what if she's not, Jess? Just imagine life without her. I couldn't do it. She's been my rock for the past 10 years, and I can't lose her now, I can't lose her ever."

Jesse hugged her tighter. "I know, baby, just please go see her, I mean she needs you as much as you need her."

Beca slowly stood up and followed Jesse into the room. She sat down in the chair and started crying again, but she started talking after a minute. "H-hey Chlobird. I don't know if you can hear me, and you probably can because I could hear you when I was in a coma, but I miss you so much. You're my best friend, and I can't live without you. And come to think of it, you probably won't remember me, but I know you'll try your very best, and I'm praying you'll remember things because I don't know what I would do if you didn't remember me. But just know I am always here for you and I'll help you through this." Beca started crying again. "I'm gonna get going and have Anna come see you, and I promise Harper will come as soon as I can explain to her what's going on, so please hang in there for me."

Jesse gave a quick hug to her before she left the room. Nick turned towards him. "So you think she's gonna be ok?"

Jesse smiled. "Ive known Chloe for about 10 years, and the most important thing I discovered about her is she never gives up. I think she'll make it."

"Hey, where's the nearest jewelry store?"

"It's about 10 minutes away, just make a right out of here and keep driving. Why do you need to go to a jewelry store?"

"I'm proposing when she wakes up. I know she's the one, so it will give me hope and I love her so much, and I want to be with her the rest of my life. She's beautiful, inside and out."

"That's pretty cool, man. I'll stay here if you want to go get a ring."

"Ok, thanks, I don't want to leave her alone."

Meanwhile, Beca was back in Emily's room talking to Anna. "You can go now, but she's in really bad shape, I collapsed on the floor twice, and I was sobbing uncontrollably, and it's not good."

"Ok, thanks for the heads up."

After Anna left, Erin came back in the room. Beca's eyes shot up from her gaze into space. "What about her baby?"

"The baby didn't make it, Bec, I'm so sorry. I know she was really looking forward to it."

"Oh." Beca frowned. "So she'll have amnesia?"

"Probably, we're not sure how serious it will be, but I came to test to see how Emily was doing. So Emily, do you know who this is?" She asked, pointing to Harper.

Emily rolled her eyes. "That's Harper, Beca and Jesse's daughter."

"Do you know how the accident happened?"

"There was ice on the road from the blizzard and Chloe kept telling me to be careful, but I didn't see the patch of black ice, and we slid off the road into the ditch, and the engine lit on fire and I had to drag Chloe out of the car, and she was unconscious, and then I passed out from the pain but I woke up when they were loading me into the ambulance. And I remember sobbing and screaming for Chloe and then they seduced me and I woke up here."

"So basically everything?" Beca asked.

"The only thing I'm concerned about is PTSD because you remember so much. Has it frightened you?"

"A little bit, but not too bad yet. Can I maybe get a room with Chloe, though?"

"I talked to her specialist doctor and he said no because we're not sure about if she'll be ok or not."

Beca frowned. "How long is she going to be on life support?"

"We'll take her off tomorrow night, Emily, you'll be able to leave tomorrow night, but you'll be in a wheelchair until everything heals."

"Ok," Emily said.

Beca frowned. "What if she doesn't make it?"

"I talked to the other doctors and asked if they could extend how long she was on it, but they said that even if we extend it, it won't affect whether or not she's going to wake up, I'm so sorry, Beca."

"But Erin, she can't die, she can't. Ok? She's my best friend and I can't live without her. Is there anything you can do?"

"I'm really sorry Beca. There's really nothing we can do at this point."

"Ok, well thank you for telling me, Erin."

"No problem, Bec, I'm so sorry."

Anna came back a few minutes later and tears were rolling down her face. Beca gave her a hug. "It's ok, it's ok. Jesse even said, Chloe's a fighter."

Anna stopped crying. "Ok. I believe it, oh and Nick is going to propose when she wakes up."

"What? Why? What if she doesn't remember him?"

"He doesn't care, Jesse told me he said that he loves her more than anything and it will give him hope that she wakes up."

"He's really sweet, and hopefully Chloe will remember him."

"Yea, but what if she doesn't remember us?"

"Then we'll help her through, we'll tell her everything she wants to know. And her memory will come back at some point, I hope."

"Ok, oh Jesse wanted to talk to you, he's still with Chlo."

"Ok, thanks."

Beca walked into Chloe's room. "What's up Jess?"

"Do you want something to eat?"

"I'm not hungry."

"You haven't eaten since 8:00 this morning and it's 9:30 right now. Please eat something."

"I'll eat when I'm hungry, ok? I'm just really anxious right now. They're taking her off life support tomorrow night."

"I'm gonna go get you something. Just, stay with her as long as possible."

"Why?"

"Because, I've been thinking for a while, and I know that Chloe's a fighter, but if she doesn't make it, wouldn't you want to spend her last day with her? She loves you more than anything, Bec. You helped her so much 2 days ago when she was here, and she was so grateful. The toast at your wedding, ok, you learned how much you meant to her. You guys are like sisters, and I know that she would want you to stay with her."

"Jesse, she's gonna make it, but I'm definitely staying with her."

"Ok, I'll go get you some food."

"Thanks Jess."
