Beca smiled at her friend. "I thought you could use a little cheering up."
"Well it worked," Anna smiled, sitting up. "I'm gonna run to the bathroom."
Beca grabbed Anna's crutches for her. "Ok. Ben wanted me to stay here until he got home. Chloe went to pick up the dogs."
"You don't have to stay if you don't want to." Anna tried to stand up.
Beca had to pull her up off the couch. "Nah it's fine. Chloe has the car anyway. And Ben is getting you lasagna from Olive Garden."
"That's so sweet of him." Anna slowly hobbled to the bathroom. "Be back in a minute," She said.
Anna came out of the bathroom a few minutes later, and Beca was working on another mix. "I wanna have you, me, and Chloe all pick a song for this one, and I can call it the 3 musketeers mix."
"Ok," Anna said, "how about Young Blood by Bea Miller?"
"Oh my gosh I love that song!" Beca squealed.
"Me too!" Anna smiled as she got back on the couch.
Ben walked in the door. "Hey, sweetie," he said, giving Anna a hug and a kiss. "How are you feeling?"
"Shitty," Anna said sarcastically. "How did you think I would feel for God's sake? I can't move my entire leg and it's killing me."
Beca smiled. "Hey, Ben. She just woke up. Chloe should be back with the dogs soon."
"God, Beca, I'm not four, I think I can tell him this stuff." Anna rolled her eyes.
"There's my sarcastic girl," Ben laughed. "Do you want some lasagna, Beca?"
"I'm ok. Chloe and I are probably going to go out to eat later."
"Ok, he said.
"Gimme the lasagna," Anna laughed. "You guys are just standing around when I'm sitting here like a helpless puppy."
"Ok ok," Beca said, getting a plate out of the cabinet from the kitchen.
"It's really messy," Ben said. "You should eat it in the kitchen so it doesn't spill everywhere."
"Beca," Anna said sweetly, "would you kindly tell my dear husband that I feel like my freaking leg is going to fall off and that I'm starving and and I don't feel like moving so to PLEASE HAND ME THE FREAKING LASAGNA AND SHUT UP."
"Ben," Beca started, laughing, "Anna would like to let you know that she feels like her freaking leg is going to fall off and that she's starving and doesn't feel like moving so to PLEASE HAND HER THE FREAKING LASAGNA AND SHUT UP." Beca thought angry Anna was hilarious, if a little frightening. She literally could not stop laughing for 10 minutes.
"Hey Mitchell," Anna said. "Calm your pits I'm not that funny." Anna laughed as she shoved a forkfull of lasagna into her mouth.
"Hey," Chloe said, walking through the door with the dogs. "Oh hey Ben."
"Hey, Chloe," Ben said. "I'll take the dogs." He took the leashes from Chloe.
"Hi," Anna said, with a mouthful of lasagna.
"I knew you'd love it!" Chloe giggled. "I stole your phone after you fell asleep to text Ben to get you food."
Anna laughed. "Well thanks, Chloe."
"Well we better get going," Chloe said. "I have to pick out clothes for my date with Corey!!!"
"Oh my gosh he asked you out?!?" Anna asked with so much perkiness that she sounded like she felt fine.
"No way!!!" Beca said. "I'm so happy for you!!!"
Ben was uninterested. He walked into the kitchen.
"Hey, Jesse and I are going out tomorrow. Maybe we can do a triple date if Anna's up to it." Beca looked at Anna.
"I think I would be up to it," Anna smiled. "Hey Ben, can we go on a triple date tomorrow night?"
Ben walked out of the kitchen with a sandwich. "Yeah. As long as you're up to it, Anna."
Chloe smiled. "We'll go somewhere easy for you to get around. Corey said I can pick the place. How about that five star French restaurant?"
"That sounds good!" Beca said excitedly. I'll text Jesse when we get home.
"Cool!" Anna said. "Text me tonight."
"Sounds good, " Chloe said as she and Beca left.
On the drive home, Beca put on her new mix. "Hey these are all of Anna's favorite songs," Chloe said.
"Yeah, I made this mix to cheer her up." Beca started singing along with Delta Goodrem. "I don't...I don't know what this is, but I know I love it baby yes I know. You got my heart hypnotic ain't no letting go."
"Your voice is life goals," Chloe giggled.
"No way," Beca said loudly. "Your voice is amazing."
As they pulled into the driveway, Chloe finished singing the song. "I'm wonderstruck, blushing all the way home, and we'll be counting stars." Chloe smiled at the end. "I like the mix at the end with Counting Stars and Enchanted."
"Thanks, Chlo. Really you should be telling Anna this because it's her favorite songs." Beca turned off the engine and got out of the car. "Hi Ginger!" She said in a high pitched voice as she walked through the door and the cat rubbed against her leg.
Chloe smiled. "I'm glad you like her, Becs. I'm gonna schedule the vet appointment for the morning and then we'll go dress shopping. We'll plan to go to dinner around 7. Let Jesse and Anna know."
"Ok," Beca said as Chloe went to call the vet.

Hey did you decide on where we're going tomorrow?
Yeah. Do you want to go on a triple date with Chloe and Corey and Anna and Ben?
Chloe got a boyfriend?!?
Yeah she met him at petsmart.
That's cool! When should I pick you up?
I think Chloe and I will drive and pick up Anna because Ben will be driving from work and Anna can't drive. Corey will probably drive himself too. The place is called Le Pépe.

"Hey Chlo, I texted Jesse. Do you want me to text Anna?"
"Yeah. We're taking Ginger to the vet at 9. You have to be up because then we're dropping her off home and going dress shopping."
"NINE???"
"Beca, I think you'll live. Just go to bed at a reasonable hour."
"That's impossible. I woke up at 12 today and I drank 3 cups of coffee."
"I guess just more coffee then."
"Fine."
"I'm going to bed, Becs, goodnight."
"Goodnight Chlo."
After Chloe went to bed, Beca stayed up working on another mix, then she went to bed.
