"Hey," Anna said as Beca climbed into the car.
"Hey," Beca said, looking at the brunette. "How ya feeling?"
"It sucks, but I'd rather have this than surgery."
"Yeah. Beca said."
"Where's Ginger?"
"Chloe and I decided to leave her so you could rest."
"Oh that was sweet of you."
"Did Chloe tell you about our surprise?"
"No, she just said that there was a surprise."
Chloe smiled as she pulled into the driveway. "We got like a billion rainbow sharpies to decorate your cast!"
"Aww you guys are so sweet!" Anna smiled. She had the best friends in the world.
"It's no big deal," Beca smiled. "I'll work on your cast, and Chloe will clean the house, then we'll switch."
"Do you need help getting out of the car?" Chloe asked.
"I can grab your crutches," Beca said as Chloe helped Anna out of the car. She handed Anna her crutches and helped her to the door. It was harder for her since she couldn't bend her leg.
Chloe opened the door. "You go rest up. We'll put on a movie, grab a snack and start drawing. What do you want to eat?"
"I'm actually good for now," Anna said, flopping down on the couch and reclining it. "Would you mind getting me some water?"
"Of course not," Beca said, running into the kitchen and getting a glass of water.
Chloe slipped a movie out of the care package they made for Anna. "The Last Five Years," she smiled. "It's a musical romance drama comedy."
"Sounds good," Anna said.
"Do you have any chores you want us to start?" Beca asked.
"No, actually, Ben cleaned the whole house for me yesterday," Anna smiled. "He didn't have anything to do."
"Ok," Beca said, sitting down on the floor. "Time to decorate," she said, scribbling a note down on the cast.
Beca and Chloe are the greatest friends in the world. Stay gorgeous.

Anna tried to look at what they wrote. "I can't see it!"
"That's part of the surprise," Beca giggled. The girls kept drawing they drew flowers, trees, food, music, and other little designs. Their notes were the best part. They wrote other notes too.

While they were drawing, Anna fell asleep. Chloe grabbed Anna's phone and texted Ben.
Hey, it's Chloe. Can you maybe pick Anna up her favorite food for dinner? She had a rough day.
Yeah what happened?
The doctor gave her a longer cast because the bones weren't healing. If it doesn't work, she'll need surgery.
Yeah I'll pick her up some lasagna from Olive Garden.
Ok thanks. We'll stay here until you get here.
Ok bye. Oh can one of you pick up the dogs?
Yeah Beca will go.

"Beca," Chloe said, "I need you to get the dogs from daycare. Ben wants one of us to stay with Anna."
"I can't," Beca said, "I need to start my new mashup."
"Ok, fine. I'll stop home and feed the cat, then I'll go pick up the dogs from daycare. Where's the daycare at again?"
"I think it's at PetSmart."
Chloe smiled and started girlishly giggling and twirling her hair. "Ooh I get to see Corey."
"Speaking of that, we need to get Ginger to the vet tomorrow."
"Yeah," Chloe said, grabbing her purse. "I'll be back in an hour."
"Bye," Beca called. She put on her headphones and pulled out her laptop. She had decided to make a mix for Anna, using her three favorite songs: Enchanted by Taylor Swift, Counting Stars by OneRepublic, and Heart Hypnotic by Delta Goodrem. She started combining the tracks, and it was really easy, so she finished in twenty minutes.
Anna woke up from her nap and sat up. "Oh hey, Beca. Thanks for staying. Whatcha working on?"
"A new mix actually. Do you want to hear it?" Beca handed her headphones to Anna, and she put them on.
"Aww Beca, you made a mix for me!" Anna smiled. "Thanks, Beca."
