"Well yeah, but you've started a family, you're happily married with 2 amazing kids and a huge career. You've done waaayyy more than me. You shouldn't be proud of me."
"Chlo, we all have our little milestones in life, and our little setbacks. We all have different things that make us proud of ourselves too. And I'm proud of you for what you do and you should be too. You survived a horrible car accident, your voice is doing so much better, you're the most supportive person I know. You are basically family Chlo. You have a family that loves you. Believe me, you have a ton to be proud of. Please be proud of yourself. It what keeps you going."
"I am, Bec. You don't have to worry."
Jesse smiled. "I'm proud of both of you, Bec, you've been an amazing wife and mother, and your career is great, you love what you do. And Chlo, you're the most supportive person in the world, you've been through so much and you're still so strong, you guys are my inspiration. I love you both so much."
Beca smiled. "Ok enough of this love shit, I'm starving, Jesse go get us Taco Bell."
He laughed. "Yes sir!"
Chloe smiled after he left. "You found the perfect guy, Bec. I'm so happy for you."
"Hey, it's ok. Nick probably is busy with work. He travels a lot just like Jesse. So, I was thinking, I'm probably going to be on maternity leave for a bit before I start performing again, and your voice, Chlo, I'm not sure how much it can take. I think you should apply for a teaching job."
"Really!?" Chloe smiled.
"Yeah! And I think you should adopt a little girl too. Harper could have a best friend to grow up with, and you'd be an amazing mom."
"That would make me so happy, Bec! I'm so glad you support my decision on this."
"All I've ever wanted is for you to be happy, Chlo," Beca said. "Now start applying for jobs and stuff!"
Chloe nodded. "What do you think I should start with? Adoption or jobs?"
"Adoption, because that process takes such a long time and I think it's what you really want, so go for it!"
"Thanks Bec. I'm really excited! I'm gonna be a mom!"
"I'm so happy for you, Chlo! You've wanted this for so long! Ugh, I just wanna see my baby."
Chloe giggled. "Bec, it's 4 in the morning. I can take you to the NICU to see him if you want. You'll have to use the wheelchair though."
"Nah, it's ok. He needs to sleep so he'll be healthy."

"Nope, that's why Jesse is making a 4 AM Taco Bell run with our daughter. He's crazy. I think I'm gonna have him take you and Harper home."
