Beca and Emily sat on the couch talking about the baby shower. Beca had her phone on taking notes. "So the guest list is all the Bella's, plus Anna and Aubrey, Bumper, Benji, and Unicycle?"
Emily nodded. "Yep. It's going to be a brunch buffet at the banquet hall you're having your reception at?"
"Yep! So I booked the hotel that everyone's staying at. It's the one right next to the banquet hall. Do you think 4 days notice is too short?"
"Maybe, but I think they all care about Chloe a lot so I don't think anyone would mind."
"Ok. I'll start a group chat."
Beca: Hey guys, I'm having a baby shower for Chloe in like 4 days, and I paid to have everyone fly up here and then we can just stay the week until my wedding?
Cynthia Rose: Cool! I'll b there. When is the flight?
Beca: 10:00 next Friday night.
Stacie: aca-awesome! When does she find out the sex?
Beca: we both find out in 2 days.
Amy: what is she hoping for?
Beca: she hasn't really said. I think she wants a girl cuz she loves dressing Harper up and stuff so yah.
Lily: do we bring gifts?
Beca: well it is a baby shower.....
Flo: how many days will we be here?
Beca: it's like a week I think. We're getting the bridesmaid dresses the day after the shower.
Aubrey: sounds good. Is it a surprise?
Beca: YES! So don't text Chloe or anything.
Cynthia Rose: ok! See you in 4 days.
Beca: see you guys!
"Ok it's all set up!" Beca smiled. "Chloe shouldn't be back for an hour. I think I want to do some housework. The kitchen is a mess."
Emily stood up. "Yeah. I'll help you out."
Beca looked down at her daughter who was asleep on the couch. "I think she's feeling better. She didn't sleep all night, so she'll probably sleep for a little while longer."
"Well I'm glad she's feeling better. Do you wanna start on the kitchen, and I'll do laundry?"
"Yeah." Beca limped off into the kitchen. She started cleaning the counter and doing the dishes. After she finished, she got the bucket out to mop the floor, but have been too much pressure for her knee because she felt shooting pain up her knee. "Ow. Oh my god." She leaned up against the counter. "Em, can you come here, and bring my crutches?"
"What happened?" She asked, walking into the room.
"I don't know, just get my crutches."
Emily was shaking as she handed Becs her crutches. "Are you ok? Do I need to take you to the doctor? What's wrong?"
Beca made her way to the couch and sat down with her leg propped up. "There's just...I don't even know...like shooting pain. I feel like I can't walk on it. It's...burning almost. I don't think I need to go to the doctor. It's not too bad yet. Can you get me some ice."
Emily practically sprinted into the kitchen and returned with the ice. Beca laughed. "Relax, I'm fine, it's tolerable."
Emily rolled her eyes. "Really, cause how you described it didn't sound tolerable. Should I call Chloe?"
