Harper woke Beca up at 6:30 the next morning. "Mama mama it's Christmas! Get up! Daddy get up!!!"
Beca was so excited, this was the first time she got up, willingly. "Ok, sweetie! You can open your presents now. Beca, Jesse, and Chloe sat together, while watching the little girl open her presents. She got a doll house, dolls, a Nintendo DS, and board games.
Harper was about to tear open the box to her doll when Beca stopped her. "You can bring the doll to Anna's. We're going to take Christmas pictures in a few minutes after we get dressed."
"Ok, mama."
"I'm gonna go put my dress on, sweetie. Come with so I can get you ready too. Hey, Jess, we'll be ready in 20."
"Ok," he called from the living room.
Harper followed Beca into her bedroom and watched her put on a red lace dress. Beca slipped the matching lace dress over her daughter's head. "Look, sweetie! We're twins!"
"Yay!"
Beca and Harper made their way to the bathroom, and Beca plugged in the curling iron and started doing her makeup. She did a dark smokey eye, and prune colored lipstick. Harper hugged her mom. "Momma, you look pretty!"
"Thanks sweetie! You want some?"
"Yes!"
Beca put a tiny dab of lipstick on the little girl. "See, now we're twins again. Sit down so I can do your hair. Harper sat down, and Beca Dutch braided the little girls hair into a high ponytail. Then she started curling it. When she was done, she tied it with a bow and started curling her own. When she finished, she put on her black heels, and helped her daughter put on her little black shoes.
When she stepped out of the bathroom, Jesse smiled. "Wow, you look amazing."
Beca giggled. "Blah blah blah I get it, so does Harper, we're practical twins. HEY CHLOE, HURRY UP WITH THAT CAMERA. We have to play in the snow in the freezing cold, and I want to get this over with."
"Ok I'm coming!" Chloe came out of your room. "Wow, you guys look amazing! My two favorite girls in matching outfits, and Jesse, in the cute matching suit."
Beca rolled her eyes. "Can we just get this over with?"
They went outside on the deck and started taking pictures. In the first one, Harper was sitting on the ledge of the deck, which wasn't the safest, and Beca and Jesse were on both sides of her. In the next one, Chloe had captured the perfect moment when Beca and Jesse swung Harper in the air, and the smile on her face was priceless. The third one was cute. Harper was standing in front of Jesse, and Beca was sitting on his shoulders. They then proceeded to do the fourth one the same way, but with Beca in front and Harper on his shoulders. It was funny because even in heels, Jesse was still about 6 inches taller than her. Beca got really cold after the fourth picture, and she wanted to go inside, so that was the end. Beca laughed as she brushed snow out of her hair. "Hey, Chlo. I gotta say, that was pretty fun. Thanks."
Chloe brushed the snow off of Beca's back. "No problem. At some point, I have to use my photography talent. Do you want me to get those framed?"
"Yeah, that would be great. I'm gonna go change."
Beca came out of her bedroom 10 minutes later in leggings, a green shirt, and a red scarf. Jesse walked out of the bathroom with an ugly Christmas sweater on. Beca laughed. "What the hell are you wearing?"
Jesse laughed and kissed his girlfriend. "An ugly Christmas sweater, dummy. I also got you, Chloe, and Harper one."
Harper came out of the bathroom wearing a tiny ugly sweater. "Mama, Aunt Chloe, put on yours."
Beca and Chloe laughed and headed into their bedrooms to change. They were so cute all matching.
When they got to Anna and Ben's house, they were almost finished with getting brunch ready. Aubrey was already there. Anna ran out to hug her friends. "Merry Christmas! You guys are so cute matching and everything!!"
Beca smiled and hugged her friend. "Thanks, Ann! How ya feelin?"
"Great, actually. I'm surprised!"
"That's good! Now I'm starving. Let's eat."
After a meal of egg nog French toast, bacon, eggs, sausage, fruit salad, and muffins. Everyone hung out in the living room. Beca agreed to come over every day, but Chloe's work schedule had gotten busier. She had to work every week day for 2 months. Jesse was off for 2 months, so he could stay home and pick up Harper from school. Jesse was also taking Harper back to LA with him while he packed up his stuff to move back. Harper was excited to get to go with her dad, and she would be back by the time school started again. Anna was talking about how the pregnancy had been hard, even though it was only a week. "I don't know, really. It's like because I'm still recovering, everything is worse. I throw up like every morning. Half the time, I feel like I can't breathe, and I'm so weak all the time."
Beca smiled. "I threw up every morning too. And I wasn't still recovering. I felt weak around the end, and I felt like I couldn't breathe sometimes, too. Trust me, in 9 months, you'll be crying."
"Thanks so much for the positivity." Anna punched Beca in the arm.
"Oh do you want to see the pictures we took this morning?" Beca pulled out her phone, and Anna scrolled through them and handed the phone to Aubrey.
"Oh my gosh, those are amazing! Beca, you looked gorgeous! I love how you and Harper are matching! My favorite though is the one where you were sitting on his shoulders!"
Aubrey handed the phone back To Beca. "You guys are the cutest."
Beca smiled. "Thanks so much guys. We better get going. We have an early morning, but thanks so much for having us."
"No problem," Anna said.
Beca and Chloe gave a hug to Aubrey. Beca pulled away first. "Thanks so much for flying out here. We'll miss you."
Aubrey rubbed Beca's shoulder. "Thanks for having me Becs. I'm so glad things worked out. It's really cool!"
Chloe smiled. "Yeah, Bri. Thanks for coming. It means a lot to Harper."
"Bye Harper, sweetie. Have your mommy call me so I can talk to you soon!"
Harper ran over to give Aubrey a hug. "Bye aunt Aubrey."
Aubrey, Beca, Chloe, Harper, and Jesse all left.
When they got home, Chloe and Beca helped Jesse and Harper pack for LA. Beca was sad that her baby girl was leaving for a few days, but she was still excited for her.
