A week later, Beca, Jesse, and Chloe were about to board the plane. "Bye, guys," Anna called, waving at her friends until they boarded the plane. The plane ride was fairly boring, so they were excited to get off.
Aubrey picked them up at the gate. "Hi, guys!"
Beca and Jesse hasn't told her about the engagement. Beca spoke up. "Hey, Bri, two of your best friends are getting married!"
Aubrey looked confused. "You and Chloe aren't lesbians."
"OH MY GOD AUBREY," Jesse laughed, grabbing hands with Beca.
Aubrey finally put two and two together. "Oh my gosh, I'm so happy for you!!!" She gave a hug to Beca and Jesse. "We should get going. The reunion starts in an hour.
Chloe and Aubrey walked slightly ahead of Jesse and Beca. Beca was a little bit slower than she was before. She still wasn't feeling 100% but she wanted to see her friends more than anything. Jesse slowed down so he could walk at Beca's pace. "How are you feeling?"
"Fine. This part is exhausting, but I'll be ok."
"Good! I'm glad you're feeling better."
Aubrey dropped them off at their hotel. Chloe had a separate room from Beca and Jesse, so it took them awhile to get settled in.
They took a cab to aca-reunion. Only Aubrey and Jesse knew about Beca's injury, so she was instantly swarmed with people wondering what happened. When she finally explained what happened, she got the chance to sit and relax. Fat Amy sat down next to her. "Hey, aca-bitch. How ya feeling?"
"I'm ok. I'm just tired, but it's the best night ever. I'm so happy to be back here with everyone."
"Have you started planning the wedding?"
"No, Jess and I are going to start tomorrow."
"Oh that's cool. I'm gonna go get a drink. I'll see you."
When Amy walked away, Chloe ran up to her, clearly drunk. "Remember when I told you we were going to be really fast friends and I almost kissed you?"
"How could I forget?" Beca laughed.
"Well anyway, it's so amazing how we ended up being best friends and all and yeah. "
"You saw me naked, so..."
"I'm gonna go get a drink. This ginger needs her jiggle juice again."
"Make good choices...again."
Beca smiled as she sat down once again. Jesse walked over to her. "Hey, sweetie. How are you feeling?"
Beca stayed sitting down this time. "I'm ok. I think I'm going to go out there and try to dance."
"Ok, Bec. Love you."
"Love you too," Beca said, as she made her way slowly down the steps to the dance floor. She stood in the corner until Stacie came up to say hi.
"Hey, Beca. Congrats on your engagement! I'm so excited for your wedding. I hope you're feeling better after the accident."
Beca decided to lie because Stacie would stick by her the entire night if she knew something was even a little wrong. "Yeah. I'm feeling a lot better!"
"Good! I'm going to go dance. Wanna come?"
"Sure," Beca said.
As she was about to attempt her dancing, the riff off started. Beca made her way back to the Bella's. The first category was love songs.
Jesse started singing When I Look Into Your Eyes by Firehouse until Beca started singing Love Song by Sarah Barellies. Everyone was clapping and they called that round a tie. The next category was Break up songs. Chloe's ex, Justin started singing We are Never Ever Ever getting back together, and Chloe sang Move Bitch. The Bella's won that round. The third round was 90's rap. Aubrey started with No Diggity in Beca's honor, and then Beca sang the chorus as a solo. Jesse sang Gangsters Paradise, but The Bella's won. The won the reunion riff off!!!! After the riff off, everyone bid their farewells and went back to their hotels. Beca and Jesse Went to bed right away. Beca was exhausted, and her ankle was killing her. Jesse talked to her until she fell asleep. She loved how sweet he was to her. He made her melt.
