After Magnolia, the girls drove back to Beca and Chloe's condo.
"What movie should we watch?" Chloe asked after she put her bag down.
"Oh!" Aubrey said, "Let's watch a Christmas movie since Christmas is next week!"
"I don't care what we watch," Beca said. She never cared, since she didn't like movies that much.
"Oh, I heard of this movie called Happy Christmas," Anna said.
"Sounds good, Chloe said as she put a bag of popcorn in the microwave. Beca flipped the tv to Netflix and searched the movie.
"You ready, Chlo?" Beca said.
"Yeah just start it without me. The popcorn is almost done." Beca ran into the kitchen and grabbed a soda for all four of them. Finally, Beca plopped down on the sectional couch and Chloe sat next to her. About an hour into the movie, all the girls fell asleep. Aubrey and Anna on the floor and Beca and Chloe on the couch. Anna was the first one to wake up in the morning. She went into the bathroom to try and fix her hair and makeup.
"Anna?" Chloe asked after she woke up and drank some water, "do you want a ride home?"
"Yeah, that'd be great," Anna called from the bathroom.
"I'm stopping to grab some breakfast to bring back home anyway." Chloe grabbed her bag. She scribbled a note to Beca and Aubrey
I'm dropping Anna off at her house and picking up breakfast. Text me what you want.
While they were in the car, Anna checked her phone. "Five messages from Ben?!?" She cried.
"Relax, An, just text him."
"Oh he just wanted to know where I was."
"Ok that's good. Do you mind if I come in and see the living room?"
"Of course not! You designed it. You should totally get to see it."
As Chloe walked into the house, two dogs greeted her.
"Hi, Diamond! Hi PJ!" Chloe said. She loved animals.
"Hey Ben, "Anna said as she walked into the house. "Sorry I didn't text you back. I went to Beca and Chloe's to watch a movie and we all fell asleep."
"Nah it's fine. Hey, Chloe," Ben said.
"Hi, Ben," Chloe answered not looking at him. She was too busy petting the dogs. She loved PJ and Diamond so much.
"Well I should get going. Aubrey is probably wondering where I am."
"Thanks for the night out, Chlo," Anna said quickly hugging her friend.
"No problem I had fun. Text me later," Chloe said walking out the door.
Chloe got back into the car and drove off. She called Aubrey.
"Hey, what do you want for breakfast?"
"I don't know, Beca's not up yet."
"I can either pick up stuff to cook at home of get breakfast from McDonalds."
"Get stuff at the store. I hate McDonalds."
"Sounds good."
"Bye"
Chloe was secretly hoping she could go to the store and get stuff to make a homemade breakfast. She wanted to thank Beca for all the help she had been when she lost her voice, and there was nothing Beca loved more than breakfast food. Chloe went all out. She got pancake mix, bacon, sausage, eggs, berries, and Beca's favorite, Nutella. She figured she'd have about 2 hours before Beca woke up, but she texted Aubrey:
Make 100% sure that Beca doesn't wake up. I have a surprise planned for her that will take at least an hour.
K sounds good.
Chloe rushed home from the store. She threw the bags down and started cooking. First she started cooking the pancakes while Aubrey made the bacon and sausage. Then she quickly scrambled some eggs and threw them in the pan. She put some berries and Nutella on top of the pancakes and made up plates for all three of them. Chloe walked over to Beca, "Beca," she coaxed while gently shaking her shoulders. Beca didn't move. The ever so sweet Aubrey walked up to her. "BECA! GET UP." Beca woke up and looked at Aubrey. "This isn't the retreat, Posen. Wait, what do I smell?"
"Food, now go eat," Chloe giggled.
Beca walked over to the table.
"Aww thanks, Chlo," Beca said.
"Aubrey helped too, Chloe said."
"Now let's eat. I'm starving, Aubrey said."
The girls ate their delicious breakfast as they talked about the movie.
