Chapter 157: I'm Trying

Alex's Pov:

After talking with Demi I decide to go and talk to Lauren I need to talk to her, so I make my way to Camila and Lauren's room and I knock on the door Camila opens it and she gives me a small smile and I say "can I talk to Lauren for a moment?" "yeah of course" she walks out and I walk in and see Lauren sitting down on the bed she is looking down at her hands and I say "Lauren?" she looks up and says "Alex I um I'm really sorry" I go and sit next to her and say "you don't have to apologize Lauren you did nothing wrong" "yes I did I probably just screwed up your relationship with Demi" I chuckle and say "trust me you didn't if anything you just made us have a conversation that we probably were going to have soon but was going to happen in a different way" she looks at me confused and says "so everything is ok between you guys?" "yeah it is trust me, I even discovered that the first time I said I love you wasn't actually the first time" she smiles and says "what do you mean?" "well according to Demi I sleep talk and so remember that night at Justin's party where I thought I was talking to you when I was really drunk?" "yeah I remember" "well do you remember how we um apparently ended up having sex?" she scrunches her face and says "ok I didn't need to know that but ok" I chuckle and continue "anyways so after we were done Demi said that I knocked out really fast and she still stayed up for a bit and I started mumbling things and when I started to sound more clear I said I love you Demi but I am scared to say it because you are hot" she begins to laugh and I say "hey you weren't supposed to laugh" "how am not supposed to laugh when that is the funniest thing ever" I roll my eyes and she says "I'm sorry but come on you have to admit it's pretty funny" "ok it is pretty funny I still can't believe I even said that" she chuckles and says "well hey it could've been worse you could've said something else" "yeah that's true" she nods her head and I say "listen Lauren I'm sorry about inviting Cara and don't worry I'm going to call her back and tell her not to come" "no don't do that" I look t her confused and say "Why not?" I say "Lauren you are my sister and I love you very much I would never leave you or forget about you at any moment ok" she chuckles and says "well technically did leave me that one time when you went to Brazil" I chuckle and say "ok but I came back didn't I?" "fine you did come back" I smile and say "anyways my point is that no one could ever replace my little sister" "older sister" "stop ruining the moment" she laughs and says "I'm sorry" "yeah no one is ever going to replace you apparently you weren't the only one that was feeling like that because so was Demi" "oh she did?" "yeah but of course that's another story" Lauren nods her head understanding and she says "I'm sorry for feeling jealous" "you don't have to apologize if anything I am the one that should be apologizing because I didn't spend enough time with you or anything I didn't even ask you if you wanted me to help you out with anything for Jamie's party" she chuckles nervously and says "yeah don't worry I um know what you are going to do" "what am I going to do?" "you are going to stand on the roof top and hold the string of the piñata" I chuckle "you do know that mom doesn't like me doing that because of last time" "yeah when you nearly fell off the roof" "hey it wasn't my fault that kid threw himself on the piñata of course I was going to fall he dragged me down" she chuckles and says "yeah and you were hanging there and then the guys came and pulled your pants down" "hey that was not funny ok it was embarrassing" she smiles and says "yeah it was embarrassing because Jenny was there" I give her a small smile and she says "I um" "it's ok" "you miss her don't you?" "yeah I do" she pats my back and says "I miss her too" "it's been 7 years hasn't it?" "yeah it has and it feels like it was just yesterday" Lauren sighs and then suddenly Camila storms in and yells "she said she doesn't want you to invite Cara so don't invite her or else I am going to have Dinah give you a poly beat down" Lauren and I burst out laughing and Lauren says "babe chill everything is ok we talked about it" Camila stands there awkwardly and says "well that was embarrassing" I chuckle and stand up and say "really Camila you are going to tell Dinah to give me a poly beat down? I am not afraid of Dinah" then someone says "who isn't afraid of Dinah?" and we see Dinah walking in with Jamie in her arms and Camila smirks at me evilly and says "Alex isn't" "really Camila" "so you are not afraid of me?"
