Chapter 46: Will you be my Girlfriend?

Alex's Pov:

It was around 8:00pm and the sun had just finished setting Chris and I were playing with Max and Lily then my dad says "guys it's time for the fireworks" we yell fireworks like and well I must admit I act like a kid when it comes to fireworks, Max and Lily go with Haley and the rest of the family Chris and I went to get the fireworks and he says "dude we should do what we used to do when we were younger" "hell yeah bro come on" we go back to the front of the house and everyone was sitting down watching the fireworks we turn one on and I say "ready?" "ready" my mom says "what are you doing?" "remember what we used to do when we were kids?" "Alex Chris don't you dare" Demi says "what are they going to do?" and I look at Chris "come on little bro we got this" he smiles and we run towards it and jump over it, it was pretty cool we both landed on our feet and we cheer and get up I say "Wooo we still got it" "yeah we do, let's go back" we run back and jump over it and land on our feet again and we cheer then my mom says "stop doing that you guys are going to get hurt" Lauren says "you guys are idiots" and I hear Max say "momma can I try it" she says "no no no mister your aunt and uncle are idiots you are not doing that".

We go and get the other firework ready and Demi says "Alex stop doing that you are going to get hurt" "relax babe I'll be fine" we turn one on and continue having a good time then I decide to do something crazy and I say "Chris remember I would always want to jump over purple rain but dad wouldn't let me" "yeah I remember are you going to do it?" "hell yeah go light it up" I go and stand next to Demi and she says "what's up?" "you'll see" then my dad says "which one is next?" "purple rain" Lauren says "ha I remember dad never let you jump that one" Haley says "I remember that too" Dallas says "why not?" my mom says "because it is even more dangerous and higher than the rest" I chuckle and say "light it up Chris" and I prepare myself my mom says "Alex don't you dare" I smirk and Demi says "Alex" "sorry mom" I run towards it and jump over it and I land on my feet and I cheer then I feel someone tackle me (ok what the hell this is like the 3rd time I get tackled down) and I see that it was Demi she says "you idiot you could've gotten hurt" she starts hitting me and she slaps my cheek softly "owe owe Demi stop stop" I turn us around and now I am on top of her and lean in and I peck her lips and say "I love you" I get up and I start running away from her I am tackled down again by Dallas, Lauren, Maddie, Max, and Lily I say "guys get off me" and they wouldn't I pretend to pass out and I hear Demi say "guys get off her she's not moving" they quickly get off me and Lauren pats my cheek "Alex Alex" then I scream really loud and they screamed I start laughing and they all smack me and we were just laughing Chris pops the rest of the fireworks while I was holding Demi in my hands and I whisper in her ear happy first Fourth of July beautiful she smiles "happy first Fourth of July to you too handsome" we lean in and kiss.

We take a couple of pictures and Max comes and says "AJ can you carry me?" "of course bud" I pick him up and then out of nowhere he kisses Demi on the lips and I say "hey she's my girlfriend" Demi looks at him surprised but smiling and everyone else laughs and he says "no she's my girlfriend I asked her already" Demi says "that's right boyfriend" I look at Demi "really?" she smiles and says "hey his way of asking me was much better and cuter than yours" "how so?" she points at her finger and she has my ring and I frown "hey that's mine too" Max says "sorry AJ but Demi is my girlfriend now" I say "fine then go with your girlfriend" I pass him to Demi I say "and I'll go with my girlfriend Dallas" he gasps and Demi raises an eyebrow at me and I wrap my arm around her and Dallas says "oooh I am so liking this" everyone laughs and we all eventually went inside, Max and I were in the room playing on the XBOX and Haley comes and says "come on Maxie it's bed time" he whines "aw come on momma one more game" she sighs "fine one more but come and change into your pajamas" "ok" he leaves and I change into my black shorts and white muscle shirt, Demi was taking a shower then Max comes back and he jumps on the bed I chuckle because he was wearing black shorts and a white muscle shirt too, in the end we decided to just watch a movie Max was drinking his milk while he laid on top of me, he falls asleep and next thing you know I fell asleep too.
