Chapter 68: Everything is Perfect

he says "yeah I get that part I do I get that you are doing it for Jenny but come on bro you are killing yourself slowly over here you need to tell the coach maybe he won't kick you of the team I mean he wouldn't kick you out because you are his best player come on you are the captain" I gasp for air and say "exactly which is why I need to work harder and stop messing around in class and just focus on soccer" he says "what no that's not what I mean, if you don't tell him then I am going to tell him" we stop and I continue breathing heavy and say "don't you dare" and he says "look at you, you are nearly passing out I need to tell him" I say "if you fucking tell him I am going to kick your ass" he starts walking back to the coach and says "go ahead and try to do that but I don't you will succeed with the way that you are breathing" I try running to him to catch him up but I begin to feel my eyes closing and out of nowhere darkness takes over me and I fall down and hit the floor.

Alex's Pov:

I wake up and realize that I am in my room which is weird because I normally would wake up in a hospital after having a heart attack, wait am I dead? I sit down and pinch myself nope I'm not dead thank god I think to myself or else Demi would've killed me, I get up and then my mom walks in and she says "where the hell do you think you are going Alexandria Noah Jauregui?" whoa she is pissed off, you know your parents are pissed off when they use your full name so I must be in some deeps shit, so I say "um I'm not going anywhere" and she says "you better not so lay your ass back down" I immediately do what she's asked me to and I say "mom what happened?" and she says "don't you remember?" I say "no I don't I just remember passing out and hitting the floor" and she says "well at least you remember that part" I say "wait, wait, wait it's all coming back to me so I stayed after school today because Lauren and I got in trouble for messing around in class" she raises and eyebrow at me and I give her a small nervous smile and continue "which will not happen again and so after we were let go from detention Lauren and I um had a little awkward moment and so I headed to practice and the coach was pissed off because I was really late and made me start running after 20 laps I felt my breath become heavier and my heart was beating really fast and well I told the coach that I couldn't go on anymore but he didn't care because he doesn't know that I have a heart condition and so Zach also tried to stop him from making me run because he knows about my heart but of course it didn't work and he made me continue running and also Zach, so Zach and I started running and arguing about how I should tell the coach but I didn't want to because then the coach would kick me out of the team and so he was going to" and I felt myself getting tired again and she says "ok honey you need to relax your heart is weak right now" I say "what happened mom did I have a heart attack?" she says "no you didn't have a heart attack you just over stressed your heart with the running so need to try and stay as relaxed as you can ok" I lay back down and say "ok".

She says "we um talked to the coach already and he said that he is not going to kick you out of the team or anything and he wanted to apologize for making you overdo it but he also wishes that would've trusted him and talked to him about your heart" I sigh and say "I know I should've talked to him but I was just scared of getting kicked out" she smiles and says "I know honey but now you need just relax ok to regain your energy" I nod my head agreeing and say "did you call Demi?" and she says "yeah I called her and she um said if you can call her when you wake up" I say "can I call her back right now?" and she says "you can call her back but promise me that you are going to try and stay relaxed?" I smile and say "I promise" she smiles and says "ok" then someone knocks on my door and my mom says "come in" then the person opens the door and I see that it is Lauren I give her a small smile and she says "hi" and my mom says "ok I will leave you two to talk" she walks out and closes the door and Lauren just stands there awkwardly and I say "come here Laur" she walks over to me and she sits ok the bed and I realized then that she has been crying and she says "I am so, so, so sorry Alex for what happened and about your heart" I look at her confused and say "what are you talking about?" she says "I am the reason why you passed out during practice aren't I?" I say "no of course not Lauren you are not the reason I um I have a heart condition and so I just overdid myself during practice and made my heart weak but it wasn't your fault" she says "you have a heart condition?" "Yeah I do" she says "why didn't you tell me? And how are you still playing soccer?" I chuckle and say "well I mean I didn't tell you because that's one of my weaknesses and I am not going to walk up to you and introduce myself to you by saying oh hey I'm Alex Heart Condition" she chuckles and says "even when you are sick you still make me laugh" I smile and say "and well I was still playing soccer because nobody knew about my heart condition my parents just found out 3 months ago" and she says "oh ok does Demi know?" and I say "yeah she found out the same time my parents found out well she sort of um gave me a heart attack" she chuckles and says "oh my god" I smile and say "yeah I even named it The Demi Lovato Attack" she chuckles and says "Demi must be honored" I chuckle and say "yeah she is but I mean now the coach knows and you know so everything is going to be smoother now" she smiles and says "yeah it is".

We stay quiet for a while and then we both say at the same time "Look" we stop and chuckle and she say "I'm sorry" I say "no, no it's my fault" we chuckle and I say "you go first" she says "Ok well I know that we um had an awkward moment earlier when I um leaned in almost you know" "when you almost kissed me" she begins to blush and says "yeah that, um well I am sorry for doing that I um I know that you have a girlfriend and I shouldn’t have done that especially since we um have a great friendship, I mean we are like Batman and Robin" I chuckle and say "did you just really say that we are like Batman and Robin" she gives me a really face and says "that is all you heard after everything I just said I laugh and say "I'm sorry it was just funny but I did hear the beginning" and she says "so um are we still friends?" I say "don't you mean Batman and Robin?" she rolls her eyes and says "I don't know if you are being serious or not right now" I chuckle "I am Lauren I am just messing with you" she says "well stop because it's not funny" and she pouts and say "aww is little Lolo sad" I poke her cheek and she tries not to smile but eventually does I chuckle and she says "stop" smile and say "Laur I really like you and you are right we are like Batman and Robin but I am older than you your father would chop my future balls off and I mean I am with Demi and I love her, I love you but it's more of a sisterly love" she smiles and says "I know what you mean trust me and I understand and now that I think about it I also see you like well a brother and it would be really awkward to be kissing my brother so we should definitely just stay as friends" I smile and say "yeah well actually I like Batman and Robin" she chuckles and says "ok so we are Batman and Robin" I smile "yup and I am Batman and you are Robin" she says "whoa, whoa, whoa who says you are Batman?" I say "my attractive body says I am" she chuckles "nope you are not Batman I am Batman" I say "why do you get to be Batman?" and she says "because I am more awesome than you" I fake laugh and say "no you are not" "yes I am and you know it" "I am way, way, way more awesome than you" she says "no you are not I am Batman and that is final" someone knocks on the door and Lauren my sister walks in and says hey guys it's dinner time and um Lauren will you be staying for dinner?" she says "yeah I am" she says "ok cool" and I say "Lauren who makes a better Batman me or Lauren?" she thinks about it and says "Lauren for sure" and Lauren C yells out "ha I win" and I say "what no" Lauren J chuckles and walks out and I sit back and cross my arms and say like a little kid "but I don't want to be Batman" and Lauren C just laughs at me.

End of Flash Back

And that is how Lauren and I came up with our new nicknames as Batman and Robin, it was a crazy week I told Demi about what happened and well at first she was pissed off at the fact that Lauren and I almost kissed but I mean she understood afterwards and I told her about the whole Batman and Robin thing and she agrees that Lauren C would make a better Batman -_- My own girlfriend betrayed me, she also insisted in coming to Miami to see if I was really ok but I told her not to because I mean I was ok and I am much better now my heart is once again stronger than ever the coach has taken it easy on me and well school is going great so far everything is perfect my relationship with Demi is perfect nothing can ruin this moment.

Unknown’s Pov:

She thinks that everything is over ha well she is dumb for thinking that because it is not over this is just the beginning of everything and she is not even going to see it coming.

Yay! Everything is ok between Lauren and Alex and Demi understood and didn't get mad!
