Chapter 53: Long Time No See

Alex's Pov

After I finish talking with Demi I decide to start getting ready to go to the venue I decide to wear black pants with my black and white converse and a white button up shirt short sleeve I do my hair and everything else, once I am finished I go downstairs and I see my mom and dad sitting down on the couch and my dad says "are you ready to go?" "yeah I'm ready" my mom calls Chris and we walk out to my parents car and get in and head over to the venue, we arrive and there are a lot of screaming fans outside it's crazy we park our car and as soon as I get out the girls start screaming my name I chuckle and wave at them and they go crazy Chris says "what the hell why do they go crazy over you but not me?" I chuckle "because Demi Lovato is my girlfriend" he rolls his eyes and says "gosh I seriously need to get a girlfriend" I laugh and pat his back.

I look to my right and I see someone that I never thought that I would see again which is Austin and I's childhood friend named Jake I hate him so much it's his fault that Jenny and I had that accident when we were 14 which caused her dead well it wasn't an accident there goal was to kill me but they ended up killing the love of my life it's Jakes fault that they went after us if he wouldn't have done what he did, Jenny would still be here and we would have been able to get out of this mess safely without anyone getting hurt, this is something that will haunt me for the rest of my life if I don't put an end to it I know that Jenny is disappointed in me for what I did and I regret it everything that I did, He sees me and I can tell that he wants something I say to my parents "hey um I'll catch up with you guys in a bit ok" they say "ok sounds good".

I walk over to the side and a guard says "Alex Jauregui?" "Yeah that's me" "ok here is your pass so that they can let you back in" "ok thank you" I put it around my neck and I walk out of the gate and walk over to the alley where Jake had gone "what do you want Jake?" then out of nowhere two guys come out and I try to fight them but of course another one comes out and punches me in the stomach I groan in pain and well they hold me and Jake and that son of a bitch that I never wanted to see again comes out and he says "well, well, well, if it isn't my good friend Alex long time no see" "what do you want Wilmer?" he chuckles "you know what I want" I chuckle "if it's Demi that you want then that's not going to happen and you better stay the hell away from her" he chuckles and rubs the back of his head "You can keep that slut she is worthless" I try to punch him but of course they pull me back "hey you might want to slow down before you get that heart rate up, now come on Alex forget about Demi I don't want her what I want you to do is to continue selling the drugs and continue stealing like you used to do when you were 13 with Austin" "hell no Wilmer I told you already I am not doing that shit anymore not me or Austin" he says "really? Well do you want the same thing to happen when you were 14 you know that accident that you know wasn't an accident".

I look down and think about it I can't do this anymore I can't go back to that I promised Jenny I would never go back to that but I also can't let history repeat again I won't let it happen not with Demi, I'm sorry Jenny I really am I look up at him and say "fine I'll do it but you leave Austin out of this and everyone else got it" "yeah that's fine with me I have no problem with the kid, but remember if you tell anyone about this I won't only kill you but I will also kill Demi, you parents, Lauren, Max, Lily" "I get it" he chuckles "now that that's settled tomorrow you have to go to the usual spot and pick up the stuff got it" "yes" "oh and one more thing" I look at him and he punches me in the face and I fall to the floor and he starts kicking my stomach and I groan in pain he stops and I lay there in pain and he says "that's for all those times that you hit me" he walks away with the 2 other guys Jake comes and helps me "why are you still with them?" he helps me up and I groan in pain "I have to if I don't they will kill my family, bro you need to get checked" "I am not your bro ok you betrayed me and Austin and look what happened to Jenny".

Alex I am really, really sorry what I did back then I know that it's my fault that they tried to kill you and ended up killing Jenny I wish I could take it back but I can't, I grab my side and look at him I can see it in his eyes that he was really sorry I take a deep breath and say "fine I forgive you" he sighs of relief "thank you Alex" "but you have to stay away from" "Alex come on" "Jake I'm serious" he sighs "fine I will, but come on at least let me help you go to the hospital" "no I am not going to the hospital my parents will find out and everything will just crash from there" "how are you going to deal with the pain" "how else do you think?" he nods his head and he helps me back to the venue and leaves the good thing is that it doesn't hurt as much as it did before which is a good thing I walk in and go inside the girls see me and they yell "Alex" oh god this is going to hurt they come running to me and they hug me and I groan in pain fuck, fuck, fuck "girls, girls relax" they pull away and say we missed you I chuckle "I missed you guys too" we talk for a bit then I see Austin and he comes and he says "hey man" we hug and I groan and he says "what's wrong?" "nothing I'm ok" he looks at me and says "he talked to you already didn't he" I look at him confused he says "Wilmer" "no he didn't I fell outside" "no you didn't he did this to you how do I know this because I was going to talk to you about this I saw him here and I knew he was going to look for you now that you are back what does he want now?"

"Nothing he doesn't want nothing ok I handled it already" "no you didn't Alex you cannot go back to doing that" "I have to do it Austin if I don't he will kill my whole family Demi and you" "I know but we have to stop him" "no Austin don't get involved I don't want you to get involved ok" he nods his head and his manager says "Austin it's time" he looks at me and says "we are going to solve this together" he walks away and I groan god why the hell did we have to get involved with this we were just stupid kids trying to buy stuff that we didn't need without our parents finding out we were just so stupid.

(A/N: Shocking twist hu, Alex actually knew Wilmer even before he met Demi which is something that will be explained in the next chapter, I'm not so sure where I am going with this idea but I will figure it out but if you guys would like to help me or have any suggestions then please share them with me, I hope you guys like were this is going so far)
