Chapter 25: You really don't care about me

Alex:

After our little heated moment Demi pecks my lips and she puts her clothes back on and I put on my t-shirt and once we done fixing ourselves she says "ok I should get going" "I thought you were going to stay the night" "I was but now Wilmer is here" "so that doesn't mean you can't stay" "I don't think he would let me" "babe it's your decision not his just say that you and Lauren are going to work together on a song or something" she smiles "fine you convinced me" and I smile we walk inside and see everyone in the living room and my dad says "you guys sure do talk a lot" I chuckle "yeah I was just asking Demi if she can show me how to play the guitar and she agreed to show me" "oh well that's great" Wilmer gets up and says "well we should get going" he walks over to Demi "ready to go hermosa?" "actually I'm going to be spending the night" he looks at her confused "what why?" "because Lauren and I are going to be writing a couple of songs together for Fifth Harmony" and she looked at Lauren and Lauren said "yeah, sorry about that Wilmer" he smiles "it's ok so then I will see you tomorrow" and Demi says "yeah" he leans in and kisses her and I just look away and he says "well it was nice meeting you Mr. Jauregui" my dad say "hey call me Mike and it was nice meeting you too" "so I will see you next Saturday for the barbecue" Lauren and I say confused "barbecue?" "yeah the barbecue for your birthday" "dad I really don't want a barbecue" "well that's too bad because you are having one ok" I roll my eyes and Wilmer says "it was nice meeting you Mrs. Jauregui" "nice to meet you too" "Bye Lauren" "bye Wilmer" he looks at me and says "see you around Alex and I'll talk to that coach for you ok" "whatever" and my dad says "Alex be nice" I smirk "I am that was the nicest word I could find" my dad groans "Alex" Wilmer interrupts "it's ok Mike I know Alex doesn't like me I just hope one day we can be friends" I scoff and he finally leaves and my dad says "what has gotten into you Alex?" "me what has gotten into you dad since when do you defend someone else other then your own kid?" "Alex Wilmer is a nice guy ok and I don't think Demi appreciates you talking about him like that" "dad are you serious he is lying to your face how can you be so stupid dad" Next thing you know he slaps me and my mom says "Mike" and Lauren says "dad" I look at him shocked but yet pissed off I can't believe he did that "wow dad I guess I was right all along you really don't care about me I tried to convince myself that I was wrong but no you just shined your true colors tonight all I have to say is I hate you and to me you are no longer my father" I walk away and go upstairs to my room I pace around my room I was just so pissed off at Wilmer and my dad I am not letting him get away with hell no he isn't then I feel my heart beat rising and I try to relax but I couldn't and I fall to the floor, then Demi and Lauren walk in and see me and they run towards me "Alex relax" Demi says "Alex please breath please" Lauren "I am sorry Alex but I need to tell mom and dad" I continue try to breath and Demi says "please babe please try to breath" my mom and dad come upstairs and my mom says "Alex honey please breath" but I just feel my eyes start to close, Demi says "stay awake babe please, stay awake for me" I really try to keep my eyes open but I couldn't do it, and my eyes close.

I wake up and look around and I see my mom, Demi, Lauren and my dad then I say "who died?" they all look at me and come running to my bed and my mom comes and rubs my hair and says "hi honey" I smile "hey mom" "how are you feeling sweetie?" "a little tired but much better" "that's good" and Lauren says "what did I tell you Alex never do that again" I chuckle "I'm sorry Lauren" "it's ok I'm glad you are ok" I smile and I look at Demi and her eyes were watery "hey beautiful" she smiles through the tears "hey handsome, you scared me so much back there" I frown and wipe her tears "I'm sorry Demi" "it's ok as long as you are ok" "I'm ok now" she smiles and kisses my cheek, then my dad says "Alex can we talk?" I don't look at him and say "we have nothing to talk about" "Alex?" "I meant what I said" and he just sighs, my mom says "Lauren Demi can you guys go call the doctor" they say "ok" they walk out and my mom looks at me and says "Alex why didn't you tell us that you have a heart condition?" "I didn't tell you because if I did you guys wouldn't let me play soccer anymore and I love soccer sooo much it is my passion and I love it so much I can't just have that taken away" she smiles and rubs my hair again and says "I understand that honey I really do, but this is your life we are talking about you can die from this and we don't want that to happen" "I know I don't want to die either and leave you guys which is why I am just asking to please let me play at least for my last semester of senior year that is all I am asking for" so yes I have made my choice and I just want to be able to play my last semester so I can play the final game of the season, I need to play this game because I promised Jenny, and of course I don't want to die anytime soon so I'll just stop playing after that, my mom smiles at me and says "ok I will let you play but you have to take your medication and take it easy ok" "thank you mom I love you" "no problem honey I love you too" then my dad says "Alex can you please talk to me?" "no I will not talk to you how can you expect me to talk to you after you slapped me and clearly chose Wilmer over me hu?" and the machine starts beeping meaning my heart was beating really fast, my mom says "honey you need to relax you just had a heart attack" I take deep breathes to try and calm down and my dad says "I am really sorry Alex" I can't take this anymore I can't so I say "mom get him out please get him out" and I hear her say "Mike please" he walks out and the doctor walks in with Demi and Lauren and he says "Alex you need to relax, you just has a heart attack and your heart is weak right now so just relax" "I'm trying I just got worked up right now" "just take deep breaths"my heart finally calms down and the doctor says "ok so everything is ok nothing was damaged you just need to keep taking your medicine and need to relax the next couple of days ok no sports, exercise, no sex, and I say "no sex?" Lauren and Demi start giggling and my mom smacks my head and says "Alexandria" "I'm sorry but no sex for how long?" the doctor says "no sex for 2 weeks" "2 weeks your kidding right?" Lauren and Demi keep on giggling and I glared at them and pointed at Demi "hey don't laugh because this affects you too" she shuts up and Lauren just laughs at, the doctor continues "anyways none of those activities are allowed for 2 weeks ok?" "fine" "and I want you to stay for the rest of the night just to make sure everything is ok" "ok thanks doc" my mom says "thank you doctor" "no problem".

After the doctor walks out my mom says "ok well Demi I am assuming that you are going to want to stay with Alex so Lauren and I will go home" Demi nods and says "thank you Mrs. Jauregui" "call me Clara" she smiles "thank you Clara", my mom looks at me and says "ok we are heading out have goodnight sweetie and try to stay calm ok?" I smile "thank you mom and I will", Lauren comes and hugs me "goodnight Alex and remember what the doctor said no sex" I chuckle "can't make any promises" and my mom smacks my head again and says "you better not ok" I rub my head "ok, ok, I won't", Lauren and my mom walk out and I look at Demi and sh Is smiling at me and so am I and she says "I love you Alex" "I love you too Demi" we lean in and kiss "lay down with me" "ok" I scoot over and she gets on the bed with and I wrap my arm around her she lays her head on my chest and grabs my hand, she starts playing with it but she stays quiet and doesn't say anything and I can feel that she wants to say something or is afraid to say something so I say "hey whats wrong?" "nothing I'm fine" "babe come on I know something is wrong talk to me" she sighs "it's just that I feel like it is all my fault that you had a heart attack and your dad slapping you" "hey, hey, hey it's not your fault babe trust me this is not your fault not at all my dad is just being an ass he has always treated me differently than Lauren and my brother ok, so I saw it coming" she gives me a small smile "I wish this was all easy that I could just be with you and kiss you and hold your hand and cuddle with you" "I know I wish it was easy too babe but it isn't" "thank you for giving me more time I know that this is hard for you but thank you for still being with me" "hey I stick around because I love you Demetria Devonne Lovato" she smiles "well then I love you too Alexandria Noah Jauregui" and I smile at her and we kiss, we eventually fall asleep and I was holding her in my arms for the rest of the night.

Hey y'all here is chapter 25 I'm really sorry for not updating that much this weekend I was really busy but I will be updating twice tomorrow since it only have 1 class!! Woo!!
