Chapter 20:Will they ask you to go back to Miami?

We go to my room and Lauren was there and she looks confused, upset, and shocked, she heard everything and now she is going to kill me....

Alex's Pov

I look at Lauren and say "Lauren?" She says "I heard everything" Demi says "Lauren we can explain" "I don't want you to explain Demi I want Alex to explain her idiotic move and by the way you are now grounded for whole month" wow really ok that's it I have had enough of Lauren I can't take it anymore it's time she gets a taste of her own medicine "wow Lauren is that all you got?" she looks at me confused and Demi says "Alex stop" "no Demi she needs to know the truth" Lauren says "what did you do Alex?" "Lauren stop it ok stop acting like you are my mother because you are not" Demi looks at me and says "Alex don't do this not right now" and Lauren interrupts "no let her continue Demi" I take a deep breath so that I can somewhat control my anger "Lauren you promised me that we were going to spend time together that we were going to re-connect but no you aren't doing that all you are doing is grounding me keeping me in the house not letting me go out and enjoy my life if you were going to do that then why did you make me come here hu? why? I haven't had fun at all these past 3 weeks the only time I actually have enjoyed is with the girls and when I am with Demi she has made me really happy, but you I don't even know you anymore Lauren" Lauren stays quiet for a moment but then says "Alex" "no Lauren you know it's the truth ok you know it is I can't live here anymore Lauren, I'm going to a hotel I talked to mom and dad already and they gave me permission so you don't have to worry about me anymore and I won't be a pain in your ass anymore" she tries to say something but nothing comes out "come on let's go Demi" I grab my gym bag and we walk downstairs and Camila look at me "Alex where are you going" "I'm going to a hotel take care of Lauren" Dallas Maddie and Demi follow me and we walk outside and I look at Demi "do you mind giving me a ride to a hotel?" "Alex I am not letting you stay in a hotel you are coming to my house" "Demi I really don't want to bother you and your family" "no Alex you are staying with me wether you like it or not" I sigh knowing that I am not going to convince her "fine".

We drive to her house and stop by to buy some food we arrive to her house and we walk in and her parents were still awake, her mom sees me and gets up immediately and walks over to me "oh my god Alex what happened?" I look at Demi mot knowing whether she wants me to tell them what happened or not? So I say "I just um.." "Alex protected me from Wilmer" Demi's father gets up and says "what did he do?" "He was forcing me to leave with him and well Alex stood up for me" her mom looks at me and hugs me "thank you so much" I smile "no problem Diana" her dad looks at me and extends his hand out for me to shake it I smile and shake it and he says "thank you Alex for protecting Demi" "no problem sir" he smiles at me again and says "you can call me Eddie" I nod in agreement.

After explaining what happened we decide to go to sleep, Demi and I were going to share her room, of course no one still knows about us sneaking around except Lauren of course. So right now we are in Demi's room and I was sitting down in the edge of the bed with my head in my hands thinking about Lauren, and I just don't know if maybe I went too far with what I said to Lauren I mean I am feeling that way she promised me that we were going to reconnect and all but all I feel is that she has been pushing me away I mean I understand she has a job and stuff but I always made time for her when she was back in Miami I always made time for her and was there when she needed me when she had problems, I don't know what's going happen with this. I then feel Demi come behind me and she wraps her arms around my neck and says "come on baby let's go to bed" she kisses my cheek and I smile, I love Demi she is the only person that makes me happy and that has surprisingly been able to slightly change my mind about relationships, she lets go of me and I get up and Say "babe um do you mind if I sleep with my shorts off and just in my boxers?" She smirks at me "no of course I don't mind more skin for me too hug" I laugh "I'll be back I'm gonna go brush my teeth" "hurry I want to cuddle with you already" "ok" and I went and I brushed my teeth when I am done I walk back inside the room and I see Demi on her phone I walk to the side of the bed and pull down my shorts and I see Demi biting her lip "don't get any ideas babe" she smiles and I wink at her I go under the covers with her she comes and wraps her arms around me and lays her head on my chest I wrap my arms around her and she says "baby what are you going to do now?" I sigh "I don't know beautiful I need to talk to my parents to see what they say" I feel her tense up "Will they ask you to go back to Miami?" I pull her closer to me "no I don't think so they are probably just going to come down and ask me if I can take care of myself and then probably rent me an apartment or something" she relaxes "oh ok I would ask for you to move in to my house but I can't because of Wilmer" "so um I am assuming you are going to break up with Wilmer after what happened tonight right?" She sighs and rubs my chest "I want to I really do but I mean babe he was drunk I know that tomorrow he is going to regret what he did" I furrow my eyebrows in confusion"babe he nearly ripped your hand off" she starts drawing circles on my abs and says "I know I know but let me talk to him tomorrow ok but I promise you that I'm going to end things with him soon" I sigh and she rubs her hand on my Cheek turns my face to look her in the eyes I look at her and she looks back at me with those beautiful chocolate brown eyes that I love so much she says "I really like you Alex" "I really like you too Demi" after that we fall asleep.

I wake up the next day and I noticed Demi wasn't next to me I sit down and I rub my eyes I groan in pain because of my side I get up and grab the clothes that I am going to wear I go to the restroom and do my business once I am done I go back and I grab my phone I see that I had a lot of missed calls from my parents, Lauren, and Camila and I just sigh I put my phone In my pocket and head downstairs I see Demi and her family making breakfast and I say "good morning everyone" they all look at me and say "good morning" then Diana says "how are you feeling Alex?" "I'm feeling little better just a little sore" and she said "that's good now sit down and I'll prepare you a plate" I walk over to the table and sit down across from Demi because Dallas was next to her, Demi smiles at me and says "hey you" I smile back "hey beautiful" and she blushes and I just smile at her.

Diana comes and puts a plate in front of me with a lot of food I smile at her "thank you" we start eating and out of nowhere I feel someone's foot on my crotch I look at Demi but it wasn't her I look at Dallas and she is smirking at me and making flirty faces I try pushing her foot away but she continues rubbing her foot I still tried to push it off but she would just rub her foot even more so I put my napkin down and say "excuse me I need to go to the restroom" I get up and walk into Demi's room to go and use the restroom after I finished I head back to the dinning room hoping that Dallas stops doing that and so I sit down and Dallas just smirks at me then out of nowhere Demi's dad asks "so Alex what do you do for a living?" I Immediately get nervous but try to relax and I say "um well I am still in high school and I am about to graduate in a couple of months and I also I have a job back in Miami" he nods "oh ok what kind of job do you have?" "I am a waiter at Olive Garden" "oh ok so if we where to ever go to Miami you are going to give us a discount?" "no sir it'll be on the house trust me" he nods "good man" I smile and Demi smiles at me too, once we finished eating we were all in the living room talking and I was getting to know Demi's parents turns out that her Eddie was also a huge soccer fan (A/N So in other stories that I have read it's always football so I decided to change it to soccer lol) and so Eddie and I were talking about the soccer teams and my cellphone starts ringing and I see that it's my mom and I say "excuse me I have to take this".

I head to the kitchen and answer "hey mom what's up?" "Alex were are you?" "I um stayed at Demi's house" "oh ok well have you talk to Lauren?" "no mom I haven't I don't want to talk to her" "well your father and I are on our way to LA so you better be there when we get there ok" "but" "no butts your dad and I have had enough of you guys fighting" I roll my eyes "well don't blame me blame Lauren" she sighs "just be at the house at 5:00 ok" "fine" we click and I just put my hands behind my head.

Will Alex and Lauren be able to re-connect after this?

Will Lauren's parents take Alex back to Miami?
