Forty Three

Joe switched the film off when it was over turning to Demi who looked at him, she kissed him gently before pulling away again a smile on her lips as well as his. He just couldn't believe that she actually loved him back, he knew he loved her a while back but he was certain now, his feelings only grew more the more time he spent with her.

"I have one more present to give you, don't complain that it's expensive or whatever like I know you will, you don't have to get me anything. This is just something to thank you for helping me through everything." Joe insisted.

"Joe I..." Demi begun but Joe soon cut her off again.

"I said no." He demanded making Demi giggle nodding her head gently not daring to speak to be told off again. Joe went behind the tree again bringing out a small box wrapped in gold wrapping paper. He handed it over to Demi who very carefully started to open it not wanting to just tear it open, she could tell he had spent time on wrapping the present.

"I've decided you can wrap presents for our children, your way better than me," Demi grinned Joe chuckling slightly as she got it open revealing a navy blue box, she could tell already it was a piece of jewellery unless he put it in the box to try and cover up what he had really got her. She twisted it around in her hands opening the box staring down at the beautiful necklace her boyfriend had got her knowing that Joe's eyes were on her the whole time. "It's beautiful."

"You like it?" Joe questioned Demi not finding the words to say so nodded her head, Joe smiled taking it from her getting it out the box. He kneeled down behind her putting the necklace around her pulling her long hair out and back down her shoulders before taking his seat. "I'm glad you like it, I wasn't sure what to get."

"Thank you Joe, I love it," Demi complimented kissing his cheek gently taking hold of his hand. "Are there any more surprises cause I don't know if I can take anymore."

"No there isn't, you can go to bed now if you want?" Joe suggested but Demi shook her head looking at her boyfriend.

"I'm enjoying the time we're spending together." Joe grinned pulling her back down so they were laid down. Demi laid her head down on his chest as he held her in his arms. They continued to talk just enjoying the time they were spend together.

"Why can't I have a boyfriend like Joe?" Willa complained as she wondered through the mall with Demi who had been telling her about what Joe had done last night. He was still in bed when she woke up and arranged this mall trip with Willa but she couldn't blame him. She knew it probably took a while to arrange everything he had done, he deserved a lay in.

"Well you can't have Joe cause he's mine." Demi snapped but jokingly.

"I wouldn't want Joe, no offence." Willa stated.

"Glad we can agree on something." Demi replied the two of them laughing.

"When are you starting to spoke for the babies?" Willa questioned as she stared at a baby store, she knew Demi wanted to go in but she knew Joe had banned her at least until they had moved out of the group home so they didn't have to transport more out.

"After we move out but a couple of clothes can't hurt can they?" Demi questions trying to convince herself that it was the way to go.

"Even though you don't know what you're having?"

"Then I'll just buy one of each, I'm sure someone will make use of the other clothes probably Joe's sisters." Willa laughed as Demi grabbed her hand dragging her into the baby store, it didn't take much to convince her. Demi knew Joe would complain but she hoped she would find something that would he would love.
