Months had passed by and soon Demi was twenty weeks pregnant. Things had been running smoothly not just with the pregnancy but everything else. Jayden and Niall were getting used to the thought of having a little brother or sister around by the end of the year and were now mommy's little helpers when Joe wasn't around. She was still working but she wasn't as involved with the children as normal, most of them were just as excited for there to be a baby around as Jayden and Niall were. Joe had been working harder to get his qualifications a lot sooner wanting to gain more money when his son or daughter arrives so they could have family treats. The wedding had been postponed to next year and after the baby was born, they thought it was for the best. Demi had the day of today because they had a hospital appointment to see how the baby was doing. Today would be a busy day since they would be saying goodbye to two of the female puppies, the other two would be staying with them for now but they were looking at finding them homes too. Jayden and Niall have had fun playing with the puppies with them being so playful.
"Hey mom." Joe greeted kissing her cheek before letting her into the house.
"Nanny!" Niall exclaimed running over jumping in her arms making her smile.
"Hi Niall, have you been looking after mommy and your baby brother or sister?" Denise questioned kissing his head.
"Yeah!" Niall exclaims as he was put back down on the floor but Denise took hold of his little hand as they entered the living room where Jayden was playing with the puppies. AJ was happy to get his sister back a little more when the puppies had grown up a little bit.
"Are you ready Demi?" Joe questioned Demi nodding her head allowing him to help her stand up wrapping his arm around her middle. "Bye boys!"
"Are you sure you want to know the gender? I don't mind waiting." Demi insisted as he sat down next to her after signing her in. He kissed the side of her head taking hold of her hand, he knew she was getting impatient to know, he could see it in her eyes.
"I'm sure Demi, I don't mind this time." Joe insisted back.
"Fine but just so you know you can't change your mind from now on." Demi grinned making him laugh. Demi's name was soon called by Alex following him into the room, they did all the musts before they would be checking on the progress of their son or daughter.
"Have there been any problems?" Alex inquired as he laid the probe down on Demi's round stomach checking over himself before he would show them.
"I've had a little bit of morning sickness but not a lot, I think I've escaped the worst of it." Demi grinned slighting making him laugh.
"And how are Jayden and Niall coping with becoming big brothers?"
"They're mommy's little helpers now, getting her drinks and talking to her bump." Joe answered a smile on his face, they were both enjoying this pregnancy more with having two little boys. It was nice to see them being great big brothers towards their brother or sister already and their little one hadn't even arrived yet.
"I have some bad news." Alex stated looking at them.
"Is the baby okay?" Demi questioned worried.
"Yes the baby is fine, sorry to worry you but he or she is turned so I'm not able to tell you what the gender is this time." They both sighed of relief knowing that their son or daughter was okay, they just didn't know if they had a son or daughter.
"Looks like your getting your way after all." Demi spoke as her head tilted in Joe's direction.
"We have a stubborn baby already." Joe rolled his eyes making them laugh. They were just glad their baby was fine.
