Joe and Demi were awoken about two and a half hours later when Jayden woke up crying waking Niall up too realising he didn't like being in his dirty diaper. Demi sat up in her bed taking Jayden up in her arms as Joe made his way over to the crib taking Niall up in his arms rocking him gently. He settled down a little bit in his father's arms but he was still crying.
"There," Joe stated as he saw a stack of diapers the nurse had left them once she realised they were asleep and would need some for most likely when they woke up. He grabbed two laying Niall down on the bed passing Demi one so she could change Jayden. "Looks like mom has been home and brought some of their clothes." Joe stated passing Demi a set that have been washed after they had brought them taking one for Niall.
"Niall's might be a little on the small side for these clothes, Jay might be too." Demi stated the two of them changing the newborns into their clothes.
"I'll go to the mall while your resting at home and pick some clothes for premature babies up, I won't be long," He leaned over kissing her lips before taking Niall up in his arms again now happy that he was clean and warm. The clothes were hanging off him but it was all they had at the minute, Jayden fit in them a little better with being bigger. "How are you feeling?"
"Tired but I won't be able to sleep properly until we're home." Demi admitted bringing Jayden up into her own arms Joe sitting on the edge of the bed with her.
"You think they recognise each other?" Joe questioned.
"I'm sure they do, they'll be speaking in their own little language to each other," Demi answered admiring both of her boys. "Aw is it tiring being pushed out of a woman little man?" Demi cooed at Niall as he yawned making cooing noises as his father laughed.
"They look like you." Joe complimented looking down at Demi now as she looked back up at him a small smile on her face.
"They look like you too," Demi answered. "They have your eyes, your hair colour and your long fingers." Joe couldn't help but smile.
"But they have your nose, your mouth and I'm sure they'll have your smile." Joe argued jokingly, they both laughed as their eyes shut again at the same time.
"Look their so bored with their parents already." Demi giggled allowing Joe to take Jayden from her once Niall was laid in the crib laying Jayden down too.
"They'll get used to us," Joe cooed leaning down kissing her gently pulling away before she could kiss him back. "Unlike them I don't have a diaper so I have to go to the bathroom, you want anything from the cafeteria?" Demi giggled shaking her head.
"I'm fine just on water but you could go to the toilet for me?" Joe laughed this time shaking his head gently standing in the doorway.
"If I could, I would but you have to do that one on your own." Joe answered.
"I will when you get back," Demi stated watching him as he left the room. She had a smile on her face as she admired her two boys who were back to sleep. She couldn't wait for the future with them, what it will be like. She knew Joe would be with them the whole way through it, she could see how much he adored them already. "Mommy and daddy love you both lots." She leaned over laying a blanket down across their bodies not wanting them to get cold. It was snowing outside.
"Hey how are you doing?" She heard a voice looking up seeing Denise stood there.
"You can come in," Demi instructed watching as she did. "Yeah we're doing fine, they just had a changed and they're back to sleep."
"Are you coping alright with being a mother?" She questioned sitting down in the chair watching her grandsons as they slept.
"Yeah it's amazing already." Demi smiled as she felt Joe sit back down next to her on the bed wrapping his arm around her.
