"Joe wake up," Demi whispered shaking him slightly. Joe let a groan escape from his mouth but kept his eyes closed. "Are you okay?" Joe shook his head gently opening his eyes bit squinted when the harsh light shone down on him. He closed them again bringing the covers over up onto his head Demi sighing rubbing his back gently. Demi was now twenty five weeks along with their twins, it was still a surprise what the gender was to Joe, they were all used to not speaking about it around him. They knew he'd be excited when he knew the moment they were born. Their twins were identical, it was either two boys or two girls.
"I feel like I drunk way too much last night," He mumbled uncovering his head again.
"Do you want me to get you some aspirin? It should help with the migraine, I'll switch the lights of and keep the curtains closed.''' Joe nodded his head feeling her kiss his sweaty forehead. "I think you might have a temperature too." Demi stated.
"I feel like shit." He murmured not moving as he felt Demi stroke his hair gently.
"I'll go get you some aspirin and it should make you feel better after some more sleep," Demi left the room leaving him behind but switched the light off for him. She knew today would be boring now Joe didn't feel very well. She'd be by herself most of the day while Joe rested, she couldn't go out for long by herself in case something happened. She sighed when she opened the cupboard door seeing that the shelves were pretty much empty, only her pregnancy medication were seen. She sighed shutting the door before making her way upstairs. "We have none in, I'll pop around to the chemist, I won't be long." Joe shook his head gently.
"Stay here, I'll be fine." Joe insisted but Demi continued to get herself changed.
"No I'll be fine getting you what you need to make you feel better," Demi demanded Joe staying quiet knowing he wouldn't win the fight. "It's only in town, I have my phone on me."
"I love you." He mumbled making Joe smile.
"I love you too, try and stay awake for when I get back." Demi kissed his forehead gently.
"I'm not sleeping until I know your all safe." Demi smiled but left the room after saying goodbye to him again.
"Jenna Demi went out to pick up some aspirin and she hasn't come back. It's been nearly an hour." Joe mumbled not helping but be worried, she said she wouldn't be long. That she would be back as soon as she could. He doubted the chemist would be this busy. It hurt his head to worry but he didn't care at the moment, not until he knew his girlfriend and unborn babies were okay.
"Is she answering her phone?"
"No, what if something is really wrong with her or the babies?" Joe questioned.
"Just relax okay, panicking won't help your headache. I'm sure she's just found some baby clothes or something she wants to pick up."
"I'd like to think it's that but I can't be sure, can you go have a look?" Joe looked down at his phone when it beeped. "Hang on I have another call."
"I'll go have a look, I'll call you when I find her." Jenna stated the two of them hanging up before Joe answered the call that was waiting.
"Hey." Joe spoke over the phone laying a hand on his throbbing head.
"Hello Joseph." He hear a voice his eyes widening slightly not caring about his head anymore. He recognised that voice far too well.
"Gary what have you done with Demi, bring her back to me." Joe demanded sitting up, he thought he was safe away from him by now. They hadn't heard anything from since before Joe and Denise moved out of the house.
"What makes you think I have her? Good guess though, she looks more beautiful with the pregnancy glow don't you think. Oh and I want to congratulate you on your daughters kicking for the first time." He taunted over the phone.
