Joe and Demi made it back to the house not long after the appointment, they had planned to go to the mall and pick a couple of things up but they didn't know the gender so it was hard for them but they had plenty of time to sort something out. They were looking forward to the birth even more now that they didn't know what they would be having. Joe held the door open for Demi who kissed his cheek to say thank you Joe following her shutting the door behind her.
"Are you ready to disappoint two little boys cause their brother and sister doesn't want to show their gender?" Joe questioned Demi laughing.
"I'm sure they'll be just fine." She leaned up kissing his lips before they wondered into the living room Joe lifting the boys up in his arms as they ran over.
"Baby brother or sister?" Jayden questioned.
"We're sorry boys but your little brother or sister was hiding so the doctor couldn't see." Demi stated kissing both their heads as they pouted. They were sure that their sons were more excited about the baby than they were. Joe put them both back on the ground as they ran back into the living room to tell Denise the not so good new to her.
"I don't know if I wanna carry on today." Joe admitted sighing.
"I know it's going to be hard to say goodbye Angel and Lacey but they're just down the road, Andy has already said we can go see them whenever we want. I'm sure Luna and Abbott will still want to see their sisters." Demi explained pecking his lips gently.
"We'll get Bailey done soon as well, we don't want any more puppies. Well I do." Demi laughed wrapping her arms around his middle Joe smiling as he felt her bump on his stomach as his arms snaked around her.
"I think it's a boy." Demi whispered Joe smiling.
"I've already said I really don't care if we have another boy, a girl would be nice but it's been so much fun raising Jayden and Niall." Joe stated kissing the top of her head.
"I kinda want a girl though." Demi admitted making Joe laugh.
"Come on boys, it's time to say goodbye to Angel and Lacey." Demi encouraged as she entered the living room with Andy who had Pablo's leash in his hands, he was the father of the puppies. Jayden and Niall frowned but made their way over to Joe who held the puppies in his arms, they both kissed their heads squealing as they swiped for their hands. They said their goodbyes before Joe stood up with them both making his way over to Andy putting them in the cage he had to take them over.
"I'll take good care of them I promise." He vowed saying his own goodbyes before he left the house Demi seeing him out.
"We still have Abbott and Luna for a little while." Joe tried to reassure his boys.
"They not leaving too!" Niall exclaimed throwing himself at Joe who sighed sitting him down in his lap, he knew it was hard for them to say goodbye to their playmates.
"We don't have enough room here for four dogs as well as your little brother or sister Niall." Joe stated kissing the top of his head.
"Me don't want them to go." He mumbled.
"I know you don't handsome but they have to, we still have AJ and Bailey." Demi spoke as she entered the room sitting next to Jayden who was cuddling his Grandmother. The two boys stayed quiet neither of their parents liking to see them so down about saying goodbye to the puppies who had been around for so long, they just didn't have the time or money to look after four dogs especially when they had another baby on the way.
"How about I take them?" Denise suggested breaking the silence that was in the room Joe and Demi looking over at her.
