It took a couple of days and Joe asking his family a little bit but they all decided it would be better if Joe stayed closer to his sisters rather than his dad. Paul worked whereas his sisters had stay at home jobs and would be around more. Demi preferred the idea of raising her sons or daughters where their father was raised if she couldn't raise them where she was. They'd be closer to Gary but they thought they could cope with him. They hadn't heard anything from him since Joe and Denise moved away from him and they were glad. It was moving out day but they didn't have a lot between them, Joe's family had helped out a lot moneywise telling them to just pay them back when they can. Most of the furniture was second hand but it was all they could afford.
"Do you think it's big enough?" Jenna questioned.
"It will have to be, we don't have much of a choice." Demi answered looking around, Joe was helping Matt bring up some of the furniture so they could get settled in.
"It will be tough for a while not being able to afford much but you'll get into a routine knowing what to buy and what you need." Jenna assured her.
"It will be tough with having twins." Demi breathed sitting down on a dining room chair which had been brought up. The rent wasn't too high but the apartment was empty and it wasn't very big. It would do until they could afford a more permanent place. Joe helped Matt carry the couch in the two of them sitting it down in front of the telly.
"I think that's it." Matt stated stretching slightly because of how heavy everything was.
"Are you guys okay unpacking?" Jenna inquired giving her little brother a hug.
"Yeah we will be thanks for helping." Joe replied hugging her back before they both pulled away from one another Jenna giving Demi a hug.
"It's okay, we'll see you Friday." They all said their goodbyes before Jenna let with Matt not wanting to leave Gemma and Jackson too long with Matt's parents.
"Come on sit in comfort," Joe encouraged sitting down Demi soon sitting down next to him. "It feels weird living by ourselves doesn't it?" Demi nodded her head in agreement.
"Yeah, I feel grown up now." Demi grinned making Joe laugh kissing her head gently. The place was quiet but they knew they couldn't get used to it. At the beginning of next year they would have two babies here.
"Are you looking forward to prom on Friday?" Joe questioned as he wondered through with a pizza box in his hands. Jenna had treated them knowing that it would be hard for them to cook with so much needing unpacking. Joe sat back down next to her opening the box allowing her to take a slice before he took his own.
"Yeah I'm glad you, Willa and Nick managed to convince me to go." Demi admitted.
"Why? I thought you were only going so we'd get off your case." Joe answered.
"Well it's just the fact it will be the last time we'll all be together for a while as a group I suppose. Willa and Nick are heading off to separate collages." Demi explained.
"And?" Joe questioned Demi looking up at him not helping but giggle.
"I'll be able to spend the night with my handsome boyfriend." Demi leaned over kissing his lips gently before she took another bite of her pizza.
"I'm glad we got there eventually," Demi slapped him gently. "Did they managed to get dates anyway?"
"No but they're going together as friends." Demi answered grabbing the controls switching the channel over, their TV was only small but so was the room so they didn't need a massive telly. They'd watch most films on their laptops.
"I love you." Joe whispered in her ear.
"I love you too." Demi answered leaning her head on his shoulder as they continued to eat.
