Joe smiled as he looked outside the kitchen window as he washed up after dinner seeing Jayden and Niall on their tricycles as AJ and Bailey ran after them Demi not far behind. It had been two years since Jayden and Niall were born, they had just had their second birthday and were thriving. Joe had been training online to become a teacher of sports, he would need to do another year online before he would become qualified to start his job in the high school he went to. Demi however found herself babysitting next door's daughter and word soon got around to other parents in the neighbourhood wanting her time as well. She decided to open her own day care centre which was perfect because she could look after Jayden and Niall as well as the other children. Joe couldn't be more proud of how far she had become. Joe chuckled when he felt some little arms wrap around his legs looking out not seeing Jayden any longer.
"Hey Jay!" Joe exclaimed drying his hands before lifting him up in his arms kissing the side of his head as the little boy giggled.
"Hey have you finished studying?" Demi questioned as she led the dogs in holding onto Niall's hand so they wouldn't knock him over. It was starting to get dark outside so she had brought them to begin getting Jayden and Niall ready for bed.
"Yeah so I'll get them ready for bed you sit down." Joe demanded bringing Niall up in his arms as well wondering away before she could say anything. Demi shook her head putting some food down for AJ and Bailey before she sat down for what seemed like the first time today.
It was about an hour later when Joe sat down on the couch next to Demi having bathed Jayden and Niall then putting them to bed making sure they were asleep. He then took a shower himself before joining Demi. He wrapped his arm around him as if it was just an instinct Demi kissing his cheek gently smiling as he tangled their fingers together. Demi was still able to see the ring on her left finger which only made her smile more.
"We should really be doing some wedding planning." Demi urged.
"You know May isn't that long away now?" Joe questioned.
"Which is exactly why we need to get it done," Demi answered getting out of his grip laughing as he groaned, she leaned down kissing his lips. "I am not marrying a baby." She squealed as he grabbed her bringing her down into his lap, she laughed laying her head on his chest.
"I love you." He whispered in her ear.
"I love you too," Demi answered looking up kissing him gently Joe kissing back straight away but Demi pulled away before it could go any further. "Nice try but we're getting this planned." Joe rolled his eyes making her laugh. She picked the folder up sitting back down next to him.
"I'm just really tired today." Joe admitted.
"We'll just do something quick then we'll both go to bed cause I'm tired too." Demi answered Joe nodding his head in agreement switching the TV off.
"This is the worst part, planning it. I'd rather marry you tomorrow without having done none at all." Joe stated Demi laughing.
"I wouldn't marry you tomorrow, I have work." Demi teased making him laugh, Joe poked her side Demi smacking him before she opened the folder. They spent some time together planning for their wedding which was only four months away. They then packed away making sure the house was secure before making their way upstairs. Demi entered the room Jayden and Niall shared together seeing that they were both sleeping like Joe had left them.
"Are they sleeping?" Joe whispered Demi nodding her head at him as she gently closed the door. He grabbed her hand once again dragging her into their bedroom where he collapsed down on the bed as Demi entered the bathroom. They were soon both together wrapped up in bed. They said goodnight to each other before they were both fast asleep.
