Joe and Demi exited the hospital hand in hand flagging a taxi down so they could get home. They had scan pictures of their little one and had their appointment for their twelve week scan which was only a couple of weeks away when they'd know more about how far along Demi really was. They both strapped in telling the taxi driver the address of their house.
"You do realise it's only February, we probably conceived around Christmas." Demi breathed looking over at her fiancé who looked back down at her.
"Doesn't surprise me," Joe smirked laughing as Demi slapped his leg. "The baby will be here by this Christmas." Demi smiled as he pecked her lips gently.
"That's really exciting to think about." Demi admitted leaning her head on his shoulder, Joe squeezed her hand gently kissing the top of her head.
"I think we should have the wedding a littler earlier with having this baby, you could be getting big by four months away." Joe stated.
"I don't mind becoming Mrs. Jonas earlier if the Church has room for us."
Joe and Demi entered the house as quietly as they could not waiting to wake Jayden and Niall up. They took their shoes and jackets off before making their way into the living room where Denise was watching telly, she turned it down as Joe and Demi took a seat, they weren't as long as she thought they would but she was sure it was for a good reason.
"How are you sweetie?" Denise questioned.
"I'm fine." Demi grinned, they both laughed as Denise became confused. Joe reached in his pocket bringing out a picture of their little one passing it over. Denise smiled as she laid her eyes on her unborn grandchild for the first time.
"Congratulations guys, are you happy?" Denise questioned holding back her tears, it was overwhelming how quickly her children were growing up. Her youngest now was having his third baby. But she couldn't be more happy for them.
"Yeah we were going to wait until I'm trained and settled into work but it's happened now so we have to do it." Joe explained.
"Sometimes they come at unexpected times but at the right time," Denise praised. "Do you think the boys will be happy?"
"I think they will be excited until their brother or sister arrives then they won't be so sure." Demi stated looking over at Joe who laughed nodding his head in agreement. They spoke for a little while before they saw Denise off, they spent a little time with Bailey and the puppies wanting to make sure everything was okay with her only then climbing into bed themselves. They got comfortable AJ jumping up to be with them, it was clear he was missing his sister's company.
"You'll get your sister back soon AJ." Demi cooed kissing his head, AJ whine slightly laying his head in his paws.
"We're going to have a house full soon." Joe complained Demi laughing.
"Would you want it any other way?" Demi questioned smiling as he brought her closer into his arms laying his hands down on her flat stomach.
"Nope." He kissed the back of her neck laying his head down on the pillow.
"I don't want to know the gender of this baby." Demi stated.
"What why?" Joe questioned.
"Because it was spoilt for you with the boys, if nobody knows then it can't be spoilt." Demi explained herself Joe smiling slightly.
"Thanks but to be honest Demi I don't think I could have waited much longer." Joe chuckled Demi laughing along with him.
"We'll see." Demi breathed the two of them slowly falling asleep as they spoke to one another.
