Demi smiled as Joe led her over to the cushions both of them sitting down. Demi was speechless not knowing what to say to her boyfriend, it was the most romantic gesture he had done, she didn't know he had it in him but she didn't care at the moment. She just wanted to spend this time with him knowing when their two babies arrive they won't be able to do little things like this together, she'd miss it but it would be worth it.
"I love it Joe honestly but I want to change one thing." She got off her cushion dragging it closer towards him sitting back down on the cushion Joe smiling as she forced his arm to be wrapped around her Demi snuggling into his chest.
"I think I like it better this way too." Joe kissed her hair gently.
"What are we watching?" Demi questioned.
"At the moment nothing, first I have something I want to show you," Joe admitted getting up taking the guitar that was hidden behind the tree. Demi had seen him play a couple of times but he didn't have it in his hands often but she would admit now he had more spare time he had been playing more frequently. He sat back down putting the strap over his shoulder. "I wrote a song."
"About what?" Demi questioned Joe looking over at her blushing slightly.
"You." He confessed Demi blinking back her tears, she never thought a guy would ever like her enough to write a song about her.
"J-Joe I..." Demi begun but Joe soon cut her off by shushing her.
"Just listen," He demanded softly. "At the moment I only have the tune with the lyrics, I might write it into a proper song later on with more instruments other than the guitar. Just go easy on me, I never sung in front of anyone before."
"I'll love it either way Joe." Demi encouraged, it took a couple of moments for Joe to pull himself together enough to start singing but he soon opened his mouth.

Demi let the tears fall down her cheeks as the song finished, she couldn't hold them back any longer. Joe put the guitar down on the floor leaning over wiping away her tears. He was curious to know what she liked about the song but she wasn't pushing him away so he thought maybe she liked it. It had taken a couple of weeks to get the courage to show her what he had created.
"Joe that song is amazing, I'm proud of you." Joe smiled leaning down kissing her gently Demi soon kissing him back letting the tears to continue falling but that didn't stop the kiss from deepening. Their lips moved perfectly together as they got closer to one another. Joe slowly ran his tongue over her bottom lip silently begging for the kiss to go further which Demi granted. They then only pulled away from each other when air was needed and when they realised how far it was going.
"Thank you," He breathed. "But I didn't just do this to show you the song, I have something I want to tell you."
"What is it?" Demi questioned looking down at their hands as he begun to play with her fingers in a nervous kind of way.
"I-I love you." Joe confessed only looking up when Demi forced him too with her finger on his chin. She leaned in kissing him again only for a moment before pulling away.
"I love you too Joe." She giggled when she saw the grin on his face Joe pulling them both down so they were laid on the cushion Demi wrapped up in his arms.
"Do you really?" Joe inquired kissing her temple.
"So much," Demi admitted closing her eyes. Joe didn't say anything else, they just stayed in silence for a while a huge smile on both their faces as they thought about one thing. Everything they had been through together so far and what they would be going through. Raising two babies together, they couldn't wait. "Can we start the film now." Joe chuckled sitting up.
"Anything for you." He grabbed the remote hitting play passing her a bowl of popcorn seeing her eyes light up at the sight of her favourite film and snack to watch it with. She was more than amazed at what her boyfriend had done for her. It just made her fall in love with him more.
