Ninety One

Joe followed Demi out the room carrying the carrier with the puppies in, they were whining because they didn't have their mom close by but Bailey was walking by his side. They smiled as they saw the six children they had with them run over excited but Joe and Demi told them to shush a little bit not wanting to disturb the puppies.

"Bailey had four puppies," Demi announced to the children who were all trying to get a glance of them. "We'll have a look at them when we get home, climb into the mini bus."

"Take AJ back, I'll take Bailey and the pups." Joe answered sharing a kiss with her before they separated Joe making sure Bailey was comfortable with the puppies before he climbed in the front wanting to get them home.

When he got home Demi was already setting up the spare bedroom as a space for Bailey to raise her puppies in peace, they'd keep the children away as much as they could but they knew it would be hard for them because they would be so excited. Joe placed the last puppy on the old bedding near Bailey who had her head on her paws clearly tired.

"Hey I just noticed they are like your family, three girls then a boy." Demi noted Joe cracking a small smile as he stroked Bailey.

"I guess so, we'll have to stick together little dude." Joe cooed making Demi laugh.

"This kinda makes me wanna have another baby." Demi stated biting her lip gently Joe laughing this time looking down at her.

"It's not really the right time, let's wait a little longer." Joe breathed kissing her lips making her release her lips. Demi smiled nodding her head.

"I agree, we'll wait until your steady in your job." Demi answered holding his hand as they both got up from the floor wanting to leave Bailey and the puppies alone to rest. Joe shut the door just a little bit but so Bailey could still get out if needed, they'd need to shut the door when the puppies were a little older but at the moment they were a little young.

"Speaking of work I should get back to that." Joe complained Demi giggling leaning up kissing him gently Joe kissing back the two of them smiling through the kiss before they pulled away from one another sharing a smile.

"I'll bring you some lunch through in a bit, you haven't had any yet." Demi answered.

"Thanks." Joe kissed her again before he headed into the study where he could now concentrate on his work knowing that Bailey was going to be okay. He was so scared that he was going to lose her, he even more scared for the day that he did.

"Momma what the puppies called?" Niall inquired after the other children had already asked her loads of questions. She giggled sitting down on the couch bringing Niall up onto her knee kissing the top of his head. She knew they all wanted to see them but they needed their sleep and rest so they could grow up. It was an exciting time for them all and she thought it would be a good thing for them to see these puppies grow from so small that they could fit in their hands to the size that AJ and Bailey were at the moment.

"They are this small," Demi stated showing them by her hands. "Three girls and one boy and finally we don't have any names yet. Maybe we can all think of some together." They all squealed making her laugh. She loved her job so much.

"AJ daddy?" Jayden questioned.

"No naughty Bailey has a secret boyfriend from down the road, isn't she sneaky." Jayden giggled allowing his mother to move some hair out of his eyes. They were glad AJ wasn't their father otherwise they might not have had such a great start in live. They were going to make sure that these puppies had a good life.
