"Joe!" Demi screamed going as quickly as she could with carrying twins at twenty five weeks to Joe's side who as gasping for air. She grabbed her phone from her pocket dialling for an ambulance holding Joe's hand shushing him, she knew if he panicked it would just cause him more pain then it would anything else. Demi spoke as soon as someone answered the other line. "My boyfriend has been stabbed, I need an ambulance."

"Where are you at the moment," Demi relayed the address to her from an envelope. "Is he bleeding heavily?" Demi's eyes dared to move down to Joe's hand where he was keeping his hand pressed against the wound, she could see the blood seeping through his fingers as he was slowly losing consciousness. She squeezed his hand a little bit but she had to stay calm, it wouldn't help the situation and it wouldn't help their babies.

"Quite heavily, he's losing consciousness," Demi answered leaning down kissing his forehead, she could see his body starting to settle. She leaned down to his ear whispering in his gently. "I love you. Joe opened his eyes again looking over at her.

"I-I love you too." Joe choked through the pain but Demi shushed him.

"How is his breathing?" She was questioned.

"Getting worse." Demi replied letting the tears fall down her cheeks, she couldn't hold it back any longer. She knew he was deteriorating.

"The ambulance is nearly there, see if you can keep him awake." Demi put the phone down on the floor putting speaker on stroking Joe's hair to calm him down holding his hand down onto the wound, he whimpered but Demi kept her hand on the wound.

"Girls?" Joe opened his eyes again looking over at her.

"Do you really wanna know?" Demi bit her lip gently.

"Yeah," Joe hissed in pain. "In case I don't make it through this."

"You will make it through this Joe, you're a strong man," Demi begun pecking his lips. "No it's not girls, we're having boys. I only told Gary it was girls so he didn't ruin it for you."

"B-Boys?" He managed to stammer Demi laughing slightly nodding her head.

"Two little boys, don't feel like you need to suffer for us. We don't want you in pain, just go if you feel like you can't cope."

"D-Demi." He mumbled his eyes slowly closing as did Demi's trying to hold back the sob which wanted to escape from her mouth. She let the tears fall down her cheeks not wanting to open her eyes and see his lifeless body.

When the ambulance came they stabled Joe enough to get him to hospital where they can do what they need for Joe to see if he will make it through this but Demi knew that it was going to be tough but hopefully with their two boys on the way he would try and make it through this. The police had arrived as well to assess what had happened but Demi left with Joe to the hospital, they wanted to check over her to make sure nothing was wrong with her and their sons.

"Will he be okay?" Demi questioned as they rushed off towards the hospital.

"It's uncertain at the moment but he's going to the best place, how far along are you?" Demi sighed looking at Joe who looked more peaceful now than what he did when he was laid back on the floor, she was still surprised Gary would do such a thing.

"Twenty five weeks but we're having two boys, he wanted to keep it a surprise but his step father had ruined that for him."

"It will give him something to fight for, I'm sure he will make it through this." She tried to assure her but Demi weren't so sure. She could just see the pain on his face as he fell to the floor, she didn't like the idea of him being in pain. He already had a bad migraine now he was going through much worse. She continued to hold his hand the whole way to the hospital, it was only when they pulled up Joe's gurney being rushed off that she felt a sharp pain in her lower stomach. She brushed it off thinking it was just another kick.

It was a contraction, she didn't know what they felt like.
