"It's Sans' ecto-bitch."

Everyone stared over at you in silence. They all looked shocked with what you said. Asriel blinked a few times before looking towards the couple. Phoebe stared over at you with an offended look on her face and a single chip fell from Ivy's jowl as she stared up at you.

So much for keeping quiet.

"Please excuse me, I need to talk with (Y/N) for a minute." Sans mumbled and you shook your head,

"I didn't mean it." You quickly say, backing up slightly. Before you could turn and bolt elsewhere a yellow aura surrounded you and you were lifted off of the ground and carried into a separate room. Sans followed quietly and shut the door behind you two. Once you two were alone for a good minute he sighed loudly and set you back down gently.

"What's the deal, (Y/N)?" He asks and turns towards you, only to see that you're ignoring him. Arms were crossed in front of your chest and you were avoiding eye contact. Sans grumbled under his breath and walked towards you, "Answer me dammit."

"Answer me dammit."

You flinched at the memory. It came back hard and strong. You could feel your emotions being messed with and Sans quickly registered it. He made his way towards you and sat down next to you, "I'm sorry.. I forgot."

"Of course you did." You growled, furrowing your eyebrows together. Sans gave a confused look in response, managing a small 'what' in a breathless tone, "They all forget." You whispered.

"What are you talking about?" Sans asked with a small scoff, "I don't like the game you're playing." You stand up, your feet stomping as you did so.

"I don't like the game you're playing! I don't understand what I did wrong to deserve such little attention!" You yelled, "I hate to sound all needy and childish, but I can't help it! It's your fault for treating me like that! Making me feel wanted and cared for... If you were just going to drop it, then why care at all!? It was pity, wasn't it!? You don't really care for me, do you?" You look towards him, tears forming in the corners of your eyes.

"Stop yelling!" Sans hollered, standing up to tower over your height, "What the hell are you talking about!?" His intimidation was working, but you weren't going to let him treat you like that this time. You quickly shoved him back and he landed back down on the bed, staring up at you. He was shocked that you mustered up enough courage to do that.

You glared at him and turned away, "Just leave me alone." You grumbled, "Don't ever tell me that you give a single shit about how I feel... I understand that you have a girlfriend now, but all I was asking for was some simple small talk. I just feel neglected, alright?"

Sans slowly sat up and studied you from afar. Your shoulders were shaking lightly and you had your arms crossed again. He let out a small sigh and stood up to approach you, "I'm... I'm sorry (Y/N)." He whispered, "I didn't realize that I was ignoring you." He mumbled and reached out, lightly touching your shoulder.

You jerked away from his touch and shook your head, "It doesn't matter... I understand, so there's no need to worry." You whispered and opened the door, "I told you not to worry about it anyways." And with that you walked out of the room, leaving him there to watch you walk away.

Ivy trotted towards you, not bothering to try and gain your attention. She could tell that you were upset. You plopped yourself down in a soft chair in the living room with a sigh. Sans had come back out and glanced towards you, but quickly retreated back to Phoebe's side.

Not like you cared or anything...

The speakers blasted with popular music and requested songs.

"Well you only need the light when it's burning low. Only miss the sun when it starts to snow. Only know you love her when you let her go"

The party had officially started and people were arriving more quickly than you thought. You glanced around, wondering if any of your friends were coming. You stood up and began to walk around. You saw Ivy sitting under the snack table, receiving all of the dropped snacks and a few were just simply given to her.

You squeaked once you felt arms wrap around your waist loosely and a chin rest on your shoulder, "Whatcha doing?" Obi asked with a smile. You let out a breath of relief and chuckled, "Just walking around.." You murmur and pry away from him and turn around, "Glad you could make it, I was beginning to wonder if I had any friends here."

"Speaking of that.." Obi chuckled quietly and his gaze flickered between you and the ground, "I was wondering if you'd want to be more than friends."

You stared at him, letting your blush rise suddenly, "Uh.. Like..."

"Best friends." Obi grins and you frown subtly. He laughs a bit and shakes his head, "I'm just messin' with ya!" He snickers, "I mean as in together, y'know. I want you to be my girlfriend, that is, if you're alright with it."

You laughed nervously and nodded a little, "Y-yeah... I'd like that..." You whispered quietly, looking down at the ground nervously.

"You're so adorable." Obi laughed quietly and pulled you close to him, hugging you gently. You smile again and hug him back. You liked the idea of being held by someone you liked and someone who liked you back. You suddenly felt as if you were no longer being ignored.

It was no longer your turn to feel neglected.

Sans stared at you two from behind the counter in the kitchen. The object he was holding was dropped from his hand and landed on the floor. The sound wasn't loud enough to startle anyone or gain any attention whatsoever.

"Only know you love her when you let her go...

And you let her go."
