Ever since your little outburst and (another) incident with Sans, he's been more talkative around you.
But this doesn't mean it was a good thing. You were glad that he wasn't ignoring you bluntly, but he was very... Loud.
Yes. He often ranted for an hour straight and yelled about sans being lazy, yelled about Ivy being annoying, and then yelled because he was upset with the school for constantly calling him about conflict. You always told him nothing happened if the school called, so he believed you...
You hardly noticed his stress levels sky rocket because of everything. You asked him if you could attend the party this weekend. You convinced him, but he wasn't happy about it, he was more worried than content with letting you go. Benjamin agreed because she wanted to observe Levi's behavior around others and since you weren't backing out on the party she was going just in case.
You were only going because if you canceled and told Asriel and Frisk why you backed out, they'd get Levi in trouble, or even worse. You were afraid of Levi lashing out on you again if you told anyone else...
You sigh as you look at the TV in silence. No one was home at the moment and you were terrified. You HATED to be home alone. Sans, Papyrus and sans had asked you if you were okay with being alone. Yeah sure, you were fine, all good.
                              Well that was a mistake.
Even if Ivy was with you, you were still scared. Anything could happen and that's the main reason why it was nerve wrecking for you.
                              THUD
The door swung open and shut quickly, followed by slow footsteps.
You shrieked and ran down the hallway towards your room, only to collide with someone. You scream again as you scramble backwards.
                              It was Sans.
You inhaled and exhaled, "Oh..." You whispered, "Sans... Where'd you go?" You ask quietly and stare at him as he turns towards you.
"(Y/N)!!" He gasps and grins widely, "I was just at Grillbz, y'know. The ushe."
Did he seriously just say 'the ushe'?
"Oh okay." You go to stand up. Once your back on your feet you reach out for his hand to help him up. It takes a good five minutes for him to cooperate, but you finally get him up on his feet.
"(Y/N) (Y/N)." Sans chants and shakes you lightly. You're growing concerned... "Yes...?" You mumble and he inhales sharply and then speaks without exhaling, "Grillby's hot." He snickers, "Get it? ah ah?"
                              "Sans are you okay...?"
"Pssshtt! Yeah!" Sans throws his arms up in the air and walks down the hallway. He turns into a room and you hear a flop on a mattress.
More importantly, your mattress. You sigh and follow him, "Sans?"
                              "Yah?" Sans whispered.
"Are you.. Drunk?" You ask and he laughs, "Pfffthaha, nooo!!" He scoffs with a smile and you approach him, "Sans I... think you're drunk..."
"Nah!" Sans waves dismissively and gently grabs your wrist. You sigh and inch closer, "Sans, you should go to bed..." You suggest and he nods.
"I should." He then uses his free arm to wrap it around your waist.
Ivy scoffs in disapproval. She snorts and plops down on the floor with an angered whine.
"Sans!" You squeak as he drags you onto the bed with him. He keeps his arms around you loosely, "Hmm?" He hums quietly.
"When I said go to bed, I didn't mean sleep in my room." You whispered and stared at Ivy. You assumed your face was flushed red.
"Meh. I'm comfortable... Pleaaasseeeee?" He drags the vowel 'e' and whines childishly.
"I suppo--" You freeze as you feel his hand run up and down your arm. You were wearing short sleeves, so he could feel your skin, "Sans what are you doing?" You peer over your shoulder and notice Sans' concentrated, puzzled look.
He stares at your bare arm in question as he continues to run his fingertips on it, "Mmm..." He murmurs, "Y'know. This feels a lot more different than bones, just sayin'. It's not a bad thing." He looks over at you with another goofy grin, "What's the face for?"
"Well." You push his hand away and he frowns a little, "You don't... Touch people's arm like that..."
                              "Did I do it wrong?"
You laugh faintly, "What? No, I'm just saying. You don't necessarily just do that simply because you're curious. Only-"
"Then why did you touch my spine?" Sans asks in a quiet tone, "Lil' bit of a hypocrite if you ask me--"
"I thought it would help." You huff, "And besides, that was starting to hurt."
"How do you think I felt...?" Sans grumbles before snickering, "Your arm is red."
You hardly noticed him running his fingers on your arm again. Your face heats up and you grumble in objection, "Sans! That burns!" You whine and push his hand away again.
"Nyah! Nyah nyahhh!" Sans mocks in your tone and you puff your cheeks up. You were actually finding this amusing. It was obvious he was drunk, but he seemed more... Genuine when he was drunk. It was odd, but it seemed like so.
Sans stares at you for a minute and you suddenly stare back, confused as to why he's staring. It's a little bit creepy...
"Boop." Sans pokes your nose and you frown.
"Alright, you're not allowed to sleep in here now." You tease and he whines at your statement.
                              "But--"
"No. This is probably far worse than your spine thing." You murmured and he shook his head.
"No. You probably would've had a trip to the bone-zone if you continued." Sans snickers and you look at him in question, "Bone-zone?"
You frown as he noticed he was sleeping. You sigh again and close your eyes to fall asleep, "Good night bone head." You whisper and slowly fall asleep.
Ivy suddenly jumps onto the bed and curls up at your guys' feet.
                              (Timeskip)
You were awake before Sans. You would have gotten up, but he had his arms around you and was rubbing your arm in his sleep. You grumbled in irritation and he sleepily opened his eye sockets. He jolts a bit as he sees you and retracts his hand away from your arm quickly.
"Thank you." You mumble and he nods a little, "Why am I in here...?" He asks with a yawn.
"You came home drunk." You whisper and he sighs, "Damn.. I'm sorry... What did I do?"
                              "You kept rubbing my arm."
                              "Shit.." Sans hisses quietly, "Why...?"
"You were curious about the touch, I guess."
"Of course." Sans grunts and removes his other arm away from you.
                              "Sans?" You hum.
"Yes, (Y/N)?" Sans looks at you again. It was so strange how he could instantly devote his attention to you whenever you called his name.
"What's the 'bone-zone'?" You ask in a quiet tone.
Sans sputters a few times and his cheeks turn a faint yellow. He doesn't give you an answer and he quickly leaves the room.
You watch him leave and then you glance at Ivy, "What was that about...?"
                              (Fin
Sorry, I had to ;w; the idea of him coming home drunk surely was fun to imagine.)
