When he asks you out- Kai

Finally!!!! He asks you out!!! It pained me to not skip to this when I first started. But oh well. On with it.

You and Kai were sitting around, doing nothing at your house. Your mom was out with one of her friends to get some candles or whatever. So you invited Kai over.
Problem was, you both were bored out of your minds.
You had your head in his lap, feet kicked up on the arm of the couch you were sharing, and he was sneaking glances at you, thinking you didn't notice.
But, being the smart intellectual person you were, you did notice.
You blushed and hid it by playing around on your phone. Truth was, you developed a crush on the hot headed ninja, and you were secretly hoping he would ask you out. You knew that you were probably just friends in his eyes, but it never hurt to have a little hope right?
You glanced at Kai to see him doing what you were doing, but his face was noticeable. It was redder than that lipstick your mom tried to get you to wear to a Halloween party. He caught you staring, and a cocky smirk formed.
Oh god.
"I know I'm attractive y/n, but staring isn't polite." He chided. You roll your eyes.
"Your one to talk pyro. Don't think I haven't seen you sneaking looks at me." He blushed and frowned.
"I wasn't!" He protested. You face him your famous bat glare. The one that you perfected by watching a lot of Batman movies.
"O-okay. Maybe I was. But, you looked at me too."
Well, shit. He had you there. Or did he?
"Because I was wondering why you were staring at me." You say triumphantly "what's your excuse Kai?" You ask. He has a blank look in his face, like he couldn't believe you out smarter him.
"W-w-well" he began, stuttering. "I was, um, going to ask you something, and I uh, was a-a little nervous on how you were going to react." Ask you something?
"What were you going to ask me?" You ask, poking his arm.
"It-its nothing." He said, looking away. Well, that's not going to fly.
You poke him, saying "Tell me, tell me now. Teeeeeelllll  Meeeeeeeee!!!!! I demand it! Tell me, tell me now. Give all your secrets away!" You quoted/sang the last part from the One Republic song. He gave you a weird look, and slapped your hand away.
"Alright, alright! Just knock it off!" You smile at him deviously while he cleared his throat.
"Okay. Well. Promise this won't change our friendship?" He asked you, pleading with his eyes.
"Promise." You confirm.
"Okay" he sighs "y/n, you've been on my mind for the past few weeks. I can't stop thinking about you. And I know that we've only known each other for a few months, but......Will You go on a d-date with me?"  You look at him with a look of surprise. Did he just?
He just.
"I understand if you don't want to. Or if it's a little awkward......" Kai said, trailing off. You surprise him by jumping on him. And hugging him.
"I would love to go on a date with you hot head! Why would this be awkward? It's adorable!!" You say, kissing his cheek. He got a dreamy look on his face, and you giggle.
That's when you heard your mom pull in the drive way.
Well,shit
"Kai! Get out of here! My mom would kill me if she saw you here!" He gave you a solute, and hopped off the couch, and ran for the the kitchen window. You saw him wriggle threw it and heard him crash outside.
"Ow." Kai said, and ran off.

Later that night, you texted him.

You: Kai u idiot. We had a back door ya know. Now my mom is wondering what happened to her terracotta pots!!!

Kai: -_- there was a back door?
And your just now telling me this?

The end. Sorry for it being the worst. I have really bad writers block, and with school starting tomorrow....ugh. the end of spring break is the worst. Truly it is. Byeeee.
