I chime in with a haven't you people ever heard of-

CLOSING THE GOD DAMN DOOR

"So Jay, if that is your real name. What do you like to do for fun?" Your dad questioned. You sink lower into the couch. Your dad already met Jay a couple times, but he was still over protective, as usual.
"I like to build things." Jay answered coolly, your dad's inquiry about his "real name" not fazing him. "And my real name is Jay, sir. At least that's what my parents tell me."
Your dad practically pouted, a little irritated that he didn't make Jay squirm.
"Honey, what do you think?" Your dad asked your mom, who was looking through pintrest for home interior design ideas.
She still didn't finish painting those cabinets that she started.
Last summer.
She looked up. "I think he should help me with my next house project." She said, smiling warmly. You knew that this was a level of high trust. Your mom wouldn't even let your dad, her husband, help with her redecorating.
"I would love to." Jay said, smiling back. Your dad was really pouting now.
"You won't even let me touch a hammer."
"That's because last time you did, you almost nailed your hand to the wall." You sat up, suddenly at full attention.
"When was this?" You asked, amused. Your mom was also smiling humorously.
"Oh, about when you were two."
"Well, I'm not ready to trust you yet Jay." Your dad interrupted, his face red in embarrassment. "That's my little girl,my only child you're dating. You break her heart, I break yours..... And every bone in your body. Got it?"
"Dad, that's really not necessary-" you began.
"Yes sir!" Jay said, grinning and saluting.
"Honey! He's being cheeky with me!"
"So, Jay how do you feel about staircases......"

So I finished Throne of Glass yesterday. It's a good book, but for some reason it was hard for me to read. I usually am done with a book in like, three days (actually depends on the size, the Order of the Phoenix took me two weeks.)

But this one took me forever, like a month, to finish. It was the same with the Lost Hero. But I think that was because Jason bored me a little....
