I HAVE FOUND MY LONG LOST NECKLACE!!!!!
Well, it was missing for a week, so not really, BUT ANYWAYS
Zane looked at the boxes of Christmas decorations in astonishment.
"Y/n...... where are you going to put all of this?"
You looked at him like he was crazy. "In the house! Duh!"
He didn't know how you were going to manage that (there was ten plastic bins full of decorations, and your house was only so big), but by the look on your face, and the look of the ugly Christmas sweater you were wearing, he knew you were determined.
"C'mon! LET'S DO THIS!" You said, already ripping off a lid of one of the bins.Zane decided he was not good at Christmas decorating.
So far, he's stepped on at least eight ornaments, got tangled in the lights, fell off a chair trying to put up garland, almost nailed his thumb into the wall, and inhaled so much glitter, glitter came out of his nose.
But you seemed like a natural with this. You were running around, five strings of garland in your arms, putting them gods knows where. You expertly maneuvered yourself around all the ornaments on the ground, while putting up lights. You were coated in glitter, and looked like you just came out of a fairy castle, but it didn't seem to bother you. Zane watched as glitter fell from your eye lashes when you blinked.
He never knew you were so good at Christmasing.
You were finally done with decorating the house, and it looked like Rudolph and his eight other friends threw up. Everything was either covered in garland, glitter, lights, or some decoration. You admired your handy work, and saw Zane spinning slowly, trying to take it all in.
Yeah, yo h went overboard with Christmas, but it was worth it.
"Zane, can you help me with something real quick?"
He looked at you, horrified. Well, he wasn't exactly good at helping to decorate.
You held up a star, one intended to go on the tree. "I'm a little too short to reach the top. Can you put this on the tree for me?"
Zane's face lit up like, well, a Christmas tree. Even after all the misfortunes he's had today, you trusted him enough to put the star on the tree? With out knocking it over?
He gingerly took it, as if it was made from glass. "Okay."
He stood on tip toe, and managed to place it on the top.
He stood back with you, and watched the synchronized lights with you.
Glitter still fell from his clothes, and came out his nose, but he was still happy.
He had fun, and you were with him, and that was really all he needed.Poor Zane ;-; falling off his chair.
