You hand your best friend another tissue and she blows her nose well sobbing.
The meeting had been unintentional. You and Lloyd just ran into bf/n while walking to Doomsday comics. She then asked who Lloyd was, and you reluctantly answered that he was your boyfriend.
"I'm going to be alone forever!" She wailed, not even caring about the looks they got, standing in the middle of the sidewalk.
Her boyfriend broke up with her a few days ago. It was not taken lightly, let's just say that. It was why instead of meeting last week like you planned, they ended up not meeting at all.
Well, that only worked for so long.
She looked at you with watery eyes. "Sorry y/n. I really am happy for you. Seriously. But" she started crying again "I'm just going to grow old and look like a wrinkly pickle, and you'll have a hot ninja boyfriend!"
Lloyd's head perked up. "Well, I wouldn't say hot, maybe smoking hot, that's a better way to-"
You elbowed him.
"You're not going to be alone forever. Sure, maybe you haven't found him yet, but I'm sure the right guy for you is somewhere out there."
She wiped her eyes. "Thanks y/n. I'm sorry I attracted so much attention."
"Oh, it's fine. No one even noticed."
"Except the ones that did. Ow! Quit elbowing me, You're gonna break my ribs!"
"I'm taking a break from guys. I mean, pft. Who needs them."
"I'm standing right here." Lloyd said dryly.
"From now on, it's Fries before Guys!." Her eyes lit up. "Oh! That's a new one."
"Bf/n, that's already been invented-"
But she was already running away. "Hold that thought y/n! I'm getting it copyrighted!"
