Lloyd had no idea what he was doing, despite what he told you three minutes ago.
All he knew was that there was no way he would lose in anything as long as Zane was his opponent.
Y/n had been impressed by a painting Zane did that hung in the living room. Lloyd, being stupid, said he could paint better and challenged the ice master to a paint off.
He was pretty sure you knew that he lied about his art skills, because you kept looking at him with an amused look on your face.
He wiped the swear of his forehead. He had to focus. He didn't even paint anything yet!
"Five minutes left." You said, and then Lloyd really started to panic. Why did he have to challenge Zane, of all people?
Seeing his he didn't have a lot of time, he decided just to draw whatever came to mind.
Five minutes later, you called time, and the green ninja put his brush down. Maybe he wouldn't lose after all.
But then Zane showed his painting first, a beautiful water colored flower, and decided he was officially screwed.
"Well, Lloyd?" You asked when he was reluctant to show his work. You definitely knew he was only bluffing and wanted to show off. "What's yours?"
Kissing his dignity goodbye, he slowly turned the canvas around.
"Is..... that a pickle?"
"Its a potato chip! I didn't have any yellow."
