Of all the times your A.C. had to choose to break, it was this week.
The week where stepping outside felt like you were walking into an oven.
Of course you could've asked Jay to fix it, him being a master with a screw driver, but then you wouldn't have an excuse to be at the beach all day.
That was worth having to go home to the practically unbearable heat every night.
Right now you were in the sand, building a sand castle.
Well, a mound of sand with a little flag on top of it. Jay's actually looked like a castle. He even put a moat around it.
After he finished the little draw bridge he made out of drift wood, he looked up at you triumphantly, then down at the pile of sand you called a sand castle.
"Don't even" you said before he could say anything. "You have more experience in building things than me."
"Yeah, but..... wow."
"I know it's bad, but it's not that bad."
You stood up, brushing sand off your legs, squinting at the bright light of the sun.
"I'm going back in the water. Are you sure you always to come, or are you going to electrocute me again?"
Earlier, Jay accidentally shocked you while swimming. It didn't really hurt, but it was fun seeing him stutter, embarrassed.
"It, I, it was an accident." He got out.
"I know. It's just fun to tease you."
He crossed his arms and muttered "Your sand castle sucks."
He got a mouth full of sand after that.

I know this is late. It's freaking twelve in the morning.

Tomorrow, I'm going to a city that take two hours to get to. So I'll probably try to write Lloyd's in the car ride.

Well, LATER GOLDEN HEARTS!!!!
